The IDF has issued a warning to all Iranians, urging them to refrain from travelling by train for 12 hours from now until 9pm local time, indicating that strikes against railway infrastructure will soon take place.

Ukrainian forces have recaptured the village of Pavlivka, Komyshuvakha direction, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Pre-war population: ~174.
Total land area: ~0.80 km².

The fighting for Pavlivka lasted approximately 2 months, 15 days.

Ballistic missile launch from Iran to Eilat, southern Israel

Two ballistic missiles were launched.

One launched to central Israel was equipped with a cluster warhead. Multiple cluster munition impacts are reported in the Tel Aviv area.

The other ballistic missile launched towards Eilat was intercepted.

Cluster munitions fell in Tel Aviv, Bnei Brak, Kfar Saba, Rosh HaAyin, and Ramat Hasharon in central Israel.

There are rumours of the potential usage of 1-2 Russian Oreshnik IRBMs from Kapustin Yar, Astrakhan Oblast, on Ukraine in the next week. Potential targets include Kyiv, Lviv, and Starokostyantyniv Airbase.

These are just rumours, and have been reported by some people with connection with Ukrainian intelligence. Nothing is confirmed.

At least 10 cluster munitions fell in central Israel.

This is apparently a NATO intelligence assessment. There have been such assessments before that have turned out to be nothing, but its possible that we see the U.S. embassy in Kyiv put out a warning statement in the coming days.

As I said, nothing is confirmed, but the threat exists.

Patriot just tried to shoot down a Russian Su-34 over Kherson Oblast. The attempt failed, and the bomber flew away. I'm making a map of it now.

A short time ago, a Ukrainian patriot interceptor attempted to shoot down a Russian Su-34 near Chaplynka, Kherson Oblast, which was attempting to conducting a bombing run on Kherson City.

The attempt failed, and the Su-34 (covered by a Su-35 which was circling near Henichesk in a cover position) flew back to Maykop Airbase, Republic of Adygea.

A few minutes later, a second Su-34 covered by a another Su-35 flew on a different route past the Kherson-Crimea border, launching 2-3 KAB glide-bombs from north of Kalanchak, Kherson Oblast. The KABs impacted the northern suburbs of Kherson.

Currently, a third Su-34 is en route to the launch lines via Henichesk, and will also carry out launches of glide-bombs to Kherson.

Now we know Ukraine has deployed one of their valuable Patriot batteries to Kherson Oblast. This tactic has proven successful in shooting down Russian aircraft in the past, so Russia will likely be trying to hunt down and strike the system now.

The third Su-34 flying to the launch lines just abandoned its combat mission. It might have been targeted too.

Its over Crimea, flying southeast and then east back towards the Sea of Azov.

Currently, Russian reconnaissance drones are only operating near the frontline, as shown on the map.

It seems that the Patriot launches came from positions much deeper behind the lines in Mykolaiv Oblast, and were designed to "scare off" the Russian aircraft, rather than shoot them down, in order to prevent the Patriot battery from being targeted.

A shooting has occurred at the Israeli consulate in Istanbul. There are reports of 3 deaths and one injured policeman.

According to unconfirmed reports, the 3 killed were the unknown gunmen, while 2 police officers were injured.

Today (April 6), Hezbollah published a total of 61 statements regarding recent operations targeting Israel and the IDF in Israel and southern Lebanon, up from yesterday's 34.

This brings their total stated operations since the beginning of the war to 1,387, with an average of 41.37 per day since March 2.

Note: Hezbollah only announces a small fraction of the total operations carried out against the IDF, and often combines multiple attacks into one statement. This graph only counts total Hezbollah statements.

In the Komyshuvakha direction, Ukrainian forces continued their assault operations and have made significant progress in the direction of Kamyanske.

In the south, Ukrainian forces repelled Russian counterattacks northeast of Stepove and cleared positions in the grey-zone north of the village. From there, they pushed further west through the treelines and forest plantations north of the gulley, and are attempting to cut off the Russian salient south of Lukyanivske.

To the north, the Ukrainians repelled the second Russian attempt at capturing Novoyakovlivka, clearing the southwestern streets of the village, and also recaptured the western and central parts of Pavlivka. Furthermore, they resumed assault operations south of Lukyanivske, as well as towards the solar farm and the Stepnohirsk - Lukyanivske Road.
