⚡🇮🇷🇺🇸 Here is what might have happened:

-A USAF F-15E was engaged and damaged yesterday by Iranian air defenses, reportedly near Qeshm island.

- The pilot initially managed to keep control of the aircraft. After a damage assessment, the jet was considered lost. The pilot ejected.

-The F-15E later crashed in central Iran.

Due to the speed of the aircraft and the fact that the missile only damaged it, the engagement, ejection and crash site can be separated by tens of kilomters from eachother.

Until today, neither the Americans or the Iranians had a clear idea of the pilot location. The Americans are now actively looking for it.

Or perhaps all the massive aerial rescuing assets currently flying over Iran are just for a military parade to celebrate Trump's new position as supreme leader of Iran.

The IRGC published footage showing their air defences shooting down what appears to either be a U.S. A-10 Warthog attack aircraft or an MQ-9 Reaper drone, which was reportedly taking part in the mission aimed at rescuing the crashed F-15 pilots.

The IRGC claims it was an A-10.

Update: This Russian attack on Orikhiv that I reported on March 15 ended in failure, just like all the previous ones. At least 15 armoured vehicles were used in two columns, most of which were damaged/destroyed. No progress was made as a result of the attacks, with only some smaller gains being made on the flanks from separate assaults involving small groups of infantry.

With the season of motorbike assaults now arriving, I expect we will see additional attempts to reach Orikhiv in the near future using this tactic instead.

I don't know how the commander for this sector hasn't been fired yet. This is like the 10th failed mechanised attack using the exact same route and exact same tactics.

All in all, the defence of Orikhiv by Ukraine for the last 4 years has been excellent.

The U.S. Department of Defence reports that a total of 365 U.S. servicemen have been injured so far as a result of Iranian strikes, including 247 in the army, 63 in the navy, 19 marines, and 36 in the Air Force.

They also claim the death toll remains at 13.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq reports that they carried out a total of 19 operations against U.S. bases in Iraq and the Middle East involving dozens of drones and rockets.

Just because Russian advances have slowed, doesn’t necessarily mean attrition has slowed. Russian glide bomb launches have surged to a mind blowing 230-310 per day, and FPV drones, artillery and MLRS are still working. The wearing down of the AFU by glide bomb battering is most easily evident in the loss of fortress towns like Grishino, Drobysheve and border incursions into Sumy oblast.

Today (April 3), Hezbollah published a total of 48 statements regarding recent operations targeting Israel and the IDF in Israel and southern Lebanon, down from yesterday's 58.

This brings their total stated operations since the beginning of the war to 1,309, with an average of 40.91 per day since March 2.

It's April 2026 and there's still not a single anti-drone net in sight. The sheer incompetence is making me lose my mind, and more importantly, making people lose their lives.

Since the interception of the F-15E fighter jet yesterday, U.S. and Israeli fighters jets have begun flying at much lower altitudes over western Iran as they fly to carry out combat sorties, in order to avoid Iranian radars.

While strikes on western Iran have knocked out almost all Iranian surface-to-air missile launchers, U.S. reconnaissance drones still somewhat regularly gets shot down over the city of Ilam. Additionally, ballistic missiles continue to be launched from Ilam Province, while airstrikes continue to target these launcher positions.
