A deadly close-range ambush by Hezbo in Beit Lif left four Israeli soldiers from the Nahal Brigade killed and six wounded. This clash occurred within a target zone created by Israeli forces pushing north from Zar'it to Yater and bypassing Bint Jbeil via At-Tiri and Rachaf.
The IDF is attempting to seal this "open prison" by destroying infrastructure and Litani River bridges further north to isolate hundreds of Radwan Force fighters in the rugged valleys of the central-western sector.
