Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced that Russia will ban gasoline exports to the world from April 1 to prioritise domestic supplies and stabilise domestic prices.

This is due to the turmoil in the global oil market sparked by the war in the Middle East, and likely also Ukrainian attacks on Russian infrastructure.

The New York Times reports that Iran has now begun targeting critical infrastructure and industrial targets in the Middle East, expanding the target pool beyond U.S. military infrastructure and oil and gas facilities.

The IDF claims that they killed two senior Hezbollah commanders in recent targeted assassination strikes on southern Beirut.

They were reportedly involved in communication efforts and rocket attacks on Israel.

They also claimed to have targeted weapons warehouses, rocket launchers, and other military-related targets across Lebanon.

ABC news reports that a third U.S. carrier strike group led by the USS George H. W. Bush is being deployed from Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia to the Middle East.

Zelensky arrived in the UAE to meet President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He stated that they discussed the security situation in the region, Iranian strikes, and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. He also mentioned the Ukraine's air defence developments, including drone interceptors, and stated Ukraine and the UAE agreed to cooperate in the field of security and defence.

Reminder: The UAE is sponsoring the world's largest genocide since 2005 in Sudan by supporting its proxy group (the RSF) so it can steal gold from Sudanese mines. Hundreds of thousands of civilians have been killed, nearly 9 million have been displaced, and 25 million have been affected by famine.

In terms of responsibility for death and destruction, the UAE far surpassed Israel over the last few years.

Of course, states will always engage in Realpolitik, especially if you're Ukraine who is engaged in an existential war and stuck in the middle of a great power proxy conflict.

But I still think its important to remain human and point out the moral and ethical implications of certain actions.

Today (March 27), Hezbollah published a total of 58 statements regarding recent operations targeting Israel and the IDF in Israel and southern Lebanon, down from yesterday's 94.

This brings their total stated operations since the beginning of the war to 945, with an average of 36.35 per day since March 2.
