In the Kupyansk direction, both Russian and Ukrainian forces have advanced over the last few weeks.

In the southeast, Russian forces successfully expelled Ukrainian forces from their positions west of Stepova Novosilka, clearing the gulleys north of the highway, and making significant progress along the railway windbreaks towards Pishchane. Ukrainian forces are attempting to infiltrate the treelines near the railway line southwest of Stepova Novosilka.

To the west, the Russians cleared out pockets of Ukrainian resistance in some strongpoints north of Pischane and established control over most of the forests southeast and east of Petropavlivka. This allowed for them to intensify their infiltrations into southeastern Petropavlivka.

To the southwest, Russian forces expanded their foothold in the eastern part of Kurylivka, capturing new positions in the residential streets. Due to an increased accumulation of infantry directly inside the village, they are now infiltrating even further west, past the western outskirts and towards the central part of Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi. At the same time, this partially secures part of the infiltration route towards Kivsharivka, which Russian forces are still trying to infiltrate the northeastern streets of.

To the northwest, the Russians cleared the remaining Ukrainian positions north of the tributary of the Hnylytsya River and in the western part of Petropavlivka. From there, they crossed the Hnylytsya River from the north, capturing the northwestern edge of Petropavlivka, and linked up with other assault groups in the forests to the southeast.

To the west, Ukrainian forces continued their clearing operations in the city centre of Kupyansk. They cleared the Kupyansk City Central hospital from the remaining Russian holdouts and secured the city administrative building and some more high-rise buildings. Fighting continues for the last buildings of the city centre with some scattered Russian soldiers, as well as for the houses running along the western bank of the Oskil River. At the same time, Russian forces continued their assault operations in the eastern part of Kupyansk, and are attempting to infiltrate the buildings south of School No. 7.

To the northwest, Ukrainian forces cleared Russian infiltrators from the village of Moskovka, and recaptured the high-rise buildings and enterprises in the northwestern-most part of Kupyansk. From there, they managed to infiltrate Michurina Street, which runs along the western bank of the Oskil River, gaining a foothold there, and are engaged in clashes with the remaining Russian formations holding out here. They also infiltrated from the area of Radkivka, entering the southern part of Holubivka.

+ ~24.90 km² in favour of Russia.
+ ~5.14 km² in favour of Ukraine.

Russia has likely planned to carry out another large-scale, combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine in the next 3 days.

If it takes place, the attack could involve:

- Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from Bryansk Oblast, Crimea, Taganrog (Rostov Oblast) and Voronezh Oblast.

- Kh-22/32 cruise missiles launched from Tu-22m3 strategic bombers.

- Iskander-K cruise missiles launched from Kursk Oblast.

- Kh-59/69 cruise missiles from Su-57 fighters at Akhtubinsk Airbase, Astrakhan Oblast.

- The new "Izdeliye-30" cruise missile launched by Su-34/35s.

- Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles launched from Crimea.

- Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles launched from MiG-31K fighters at Savasleika Airbase, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.

Not all of these above weapons will be used.

Additionally, despite their most recent attack involving almost 1,000 Geran-2/Gerbera drones, Russia still has sufficient accumulations of drones at their major launch sites surrounding Ukraine for a major attack involving hundreds of drones.

The highest threat is in place for 11pm - 5am on Saturday night, however it could take place at any of the next 3 nights.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces continued their assault operations and have advanced in several areas over the last few weeks.

In the southeast, Russian forces continued advancing west of Dibrova and captured new positions in the forests there. They also partially cleared the salient west of the village and improved their positions further north in the forests along the highway.

To the north, the Russians advanced further southwest along the forest plantations southwest of Stavky, reaching the northern outskirts of Lyman. Other forces infiltrated through northern Lyman from the area of the agricultural complex, reaching Petropavlivska Street. Additionally, Russian forces improved their positions in the treelines southeast of Drobysheve and entered the forests northwest of Lyman, while other assault groups finally cleared the western part of Stavky and the agricultural buildings. Meanwhile, fighting continues in Drobysheve and the forests south of the town.

+ ~4.92 km² in favour of Russia.
