As a result of consistently deteriorating Ukrainian manpower shortages, Russian forces were able to make several further incursions along the border in Sumy oblast, seizing Chervonaya Zorya, Bobylovka and Reytarovka.

Russia's Vostok Group of Forces channel published a video claiming to show their forces repelling a Ukrainian attack on Ternuvate, as a way of "confirming" their control over the town.

In reality, this video was filmed near Solodke, which is still under Russian control.

To the people who still claim the Ukrainian counteroffensive failed in the first few days and that Russia still holds Ternuvate, please enlighten me: why would Russia have to fake a video like this if they still held the town?

"No trust me bro, the dozens of Ukrainian geolocations indicating Ukrainian advances are just small groups being destroyed, while a couple of Russian flag raises is TOTAL CONSOLIDATION"

Well, like I've said for a while, geolocations only prove presence at one point in time, and don't prove control or consolidation. But propaganda like this is seen from both sides (like with Ukraine filming that AI video in Pokrovsk last year to claim that the city still holds). When stuff like this is exposed, it generally suggests a more positive situation on the ground in favour of the other side.
