The second missile targeted the Dimona Nuclear Facility in southern Israel. Its unknown if it impacted, however Israeli media claim that no impacts took place.

2-3 explosions occurred in the Cuban capital of Havana amid nationwide blackouts and significant internet outages.

The cause of these explosions is unknown.

Cuban Journalist Mag Jorge Castro reports that alarms sounded, helicopters are flying over Havana and that Cuba's "black berets" special forces units are preventing people from staying in doorways.

It's possible that this a training drill and unrelated to any US military activity.

And now, the wait for an actual U.S. military operation against Cuba begins.

It's been pretty clear for some time the Trump intends to achieve regime change in Cuba as one of the last steps of securing the western hemisphere as being largely America-friendly. This would allow the U.S. to focus on their more "daunting" tasks aimed at restoring their hegemony.

This includes regime change in Iran, the defeat of the Houthis and Pro-Iranian groups in Iraq, efforts at countering the rise of China, and efforts at pulling Russia away from China once Russia wins the war in Ukraine and doesn't have to focus as much on eastern Europe anymore.

The realities of great power politics continue to become more and more obvious to everyone, contradicting the long-sold myth of international law and the illusion of a liberal rules-based international order.

Cuba will only be the next step of this larger operation.

I'm making this post now because people will actually start focusing on Cuba more and more from now on.
