The IDF once again carried out an unsuccessful attempt at entering the Hezbollah stronghold city of Khiam in southern Lebanon. Clashes are currently ongoing with evacuation forces attempting to withdraw.

Hezbollah has recently reinforced their position here, and quickly ambushed the infiltrating force (who entered the city from the hills to the south and east) with IEDs, small-arms, and ATGMs. 2 Merkava tanks were targeted by ATGMs, however the extent of the damage and casualty counts are unknown at this moment.

Nevertheless, the IDF has continued to consolidate on the southern outskirts of Khiam and has captured a number of positions to the east, which will allow them to more easily begin clearing the more built-up areas.
