IDF soldiers from the Duvdevan Unit carried out a counterinsurgency operation in the West Bank city of Nablus, capturing two Palestinians.

One was reportedly affiliated with the defunct Nablus-based "Lions Den" local armed group, while the other (likely affiliated with the overlapping "Nablus Battalion" armed group of the PIJ) was reportedly involved in the production of IEDs intended to be used on Israeli soldiers conducting raids in the city. They also seized a pistol and ammunition.

Events in the Rai-Olesandrivka direction (Slovyansk direction) are not progressing well for Ukraine right now.

Russia has intensified their offensive operations and are making steady advances through some of the most fortified parts of the frontline. Ukrainian counterattacks aimed at slowing Russia's advance have failed, and Russian infiltration groups are reaching areas further and further west along the southern bank of the Siverskyi Donets River, penetrating strongpoints which were supposed to have stalled any Russian offensive west of Siversk.

Some forward units have already advanced 20 km since the fall of Siversk (from positions east of the city) and are closing in on the strategic city of Mykolaivka from two directions.

If Ukraine doesn't redeploy sufficient forces here soon, this front could blossom into a catastrophe not only for the Lyman direction, but also for the cities of Slovyansk and Kramatorsk which are not prepared for battle, and still hold more than 150,000 civilians.

Ukrainian HIMARS rockets launched from near Putvyl, Sumy Oblast, just impacted something near Rylsk, Kursk Oblast.

Ukrainian FP-2 drones from the 1st Separate Centre of Unmanned Systems struck 3 Russian Tor-M1 short-range air defence systems in Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Russian Geran-2 drones targeted the "Glinsko-Rozbyshevskaya" fuel storage facility in the village of Kachanove, Poltava Oblast.

As a result of the strikes, a large fire broke out, resulting in significant damage. This same facility was targeted by Gerans last week too.

A Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber was likely shot down by a patriot missile, over Zaporizhzhia Oblast at around 11:20 pm yesterday as it was launching KAB glide-bombs at the Tersyanka area of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

It was detected by Ukrainian radars for about 10 km after apparently being hit, before reportedly crashing somewhere near Kamianka.

I'm aware Fighterbomber made a trolling post about this, however the shootdown was reported prior to this.

Israeli airstrikes are targeting the Bekaa region of eastern Lebanon right now.

Tonight is the predicted night for Russia's upcoming combined missile attack on Ukraine, which will primarily target Kyiv Oblast.

At least 15 Russian Geran-2 drones are detected in Ukrainian airspace right now, and repeated launches have taken place.

As usual, it is not certain that an attack will take place tonight, but I will continue to monitor the situation. We should know if it will happen in the next 5 hours.

Interestingly, sometime over the past ~8 days, the elements of 425th Assault "Skala" Regiment which were taking part in Ukraine's localised counteroffensive were suddenly withdrawn and deployed somewhere else.

These forces took part in the attack on Ternove, which saw Ukraine recapture the northern part of the village. The stalling of the frontline in that area can likely be attributed to the redeployment of Skala.

We may see some Russian counterattacks take place at the easternmost edge of the Ukrainian counteroffensive zone soon...
