Important update/correction on the figures from last night's Russian missile attack:

The types of missiles that I and others mentioned were incorrect.

- The 6 Kh-101 cruise missiles which I stated were launched from 2 Tu-95MS strategic bombers in Vologda Oblast were actually 8 Iskander-K cruise missiles launched from OTRK installations in Kursk Oblast. These went on to target the Trypillya Thermal Power Plant in Kyiv Oblast.

- The 15 Kh-101 cruise missiles which I stated were launched from Tu-95MS in the Caspian Sea were actually 12 Iskander-K cruise missiles launched from OTRK installations in Kursk Oblast. These went on to target energy infrastructure in Vinnytsia Oblast.

- The 12 Kalibr cruise missiles which I stated were launched from surface-carriers in the Caspian Sea were actually 18 Kh-101 cruise missiles launched from 3 Tu-95MS.

- 4 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles were used, not 2. The missiles were launched twice in pairs from Cape Chauda, Crimea, but were only detected as single units each time. All 4 missiles struck the "Kyiv" 750 kV electrical substation.

This means: No Kalibrs were used, and only 3 out of 7 Tu-95s carried out launch maneuvers last night. At least 6 of these bombers have since landed back at Olenya Airbase. 4 Tu-95MS are likely still equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles, which could be used for another attack in the coming days.

Additionally, after my summary was posted, another 3 Kh-32 cruise missiles were launched from a Tu-22m3 strategic bomber northeast of Unecha, Bryansk Oblast, targeting the Trypillya Thermal Power Plant.

UPDATED SUMMARY: On the morning of February 4, another large-scale, combined Russian missile and drone attack was carried out on Ukraine.

~5 Iskander-M ballistic missiles / S-400 decoy missiles launched from OTRK installations northwest of Klintsy, Bryansk Oblast.

~2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from OTRK installation(s) south of Pochep, Bryansk Oblast.

~2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from OTRK installations(s) in the vicinity of Bryansk City, Bryansk Oblast.

~2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from OTRK installation(s) near Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai.

~21 Kh-32 cruise missiles launched from 6 Tu-22m3 strategic bombers at their launch lines northeast of Unecha, Bryansk Oblast.

~20 Iskander-K cruise missiles launched from OTRK installations in Kursk Oblast.

~18 Kh-101 cruise missiles launched from 3 Tu-95MS strategic bombers over the Caspian Sea in Limansky District, Astrakhan Oblast.

~4 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles launched from a K-300P Bastion-P TEL installation at Cape Chauda, Crimea.

Ukrainian air defence work:

As of the time of writing, it appears that Ukrainian air defence was able to intercept at least 6 Iskander-Ks and 3 Iskander-M/S-400 decoys.

There were 3 of these interceptions, which I have visually confirmed. Unfortunately I cannot post the videos here, for obvious reasons.

Satellite imagery shows significant damage to the Zmiivska Thermal Power Plant in Kharkiv Oblast, including the 330 kV and 110 kV substations, along with 4 of the generator transformers, as a result of Russia's most recent combined missile attack.

5 craters from Iskander-M ballistic missiles are visible, which is 1 more impact than what I previously reported.

Notably, the TPP has halted all power generation.

Satellite imagery shows that the "Vinnytsya" 750 kV electrical substation was targeted in Russia's most recent combined missile attack on Ukraine.

2 craters from Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles are visible at the substation, while a third crater is seen in the neighbouring field ~390 metres away due to one of the missiles missing its target.

Satellite imagery shows new damage to the CHP-5 Combined Heat and Power Plant in Kyiv, after it was hit by 4 Russian Iskander-M ballistic missiles in the most recent combined missile attack on Ukraine.

A large burn mark is visible, and it has entered an emergency shutdown mode.

Both craters are visible in the red circle. The other craters in the imagery are from previous strikes.

As a result of the strikes, CHP-4 has entered an emergency shutdown mode.

Satellite imagery shows new damage to the "Kyiv" 750 kV electrical substation after it was targeted by numerous Russian Kh-22/32 cruise missiles and Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles.

Notably, a number of craters and burn marks are visible outside the substation, indicating that some of the less accurate Kh-22 missiles were used alongside Kh-32s.

Damage is also seen to the substation itself in at least three locations due to missile impacts.

Unidentified missiles near Kushuhum, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and Khotin, Sumy Oblast.

Explosions in Zaporizhzhia. Either Kh-22/32 or MLRS.

The missile near Sumy disappeared, probably MLRS

The missile near Zaporizhzhia was also MLRS, which targeted something south of the city.

The Tu-22m3 appears to just be carrying out a patrol in the eastern Black Sea, alongside a Su-57.

Tomorrow there is expected to be an exchange of POWs between Ukraine and Russia, with each returning 157 people to the other.

4 Tu-22m3 strategic bombers are airborne from Olenya Airbase, Murmansk Oblast, flying towards their launch lines near Unecha, Bryansk Oblast.

They will land at Dyagilevo Airbase, Ryazan Oblast, to be equipped with Kh-22/32 cruise missiles.
