Jazeera Airways is set to make a return to Cyprus for the summer season of 2024, as revealed in an interview with ATOR (Association of Tour Operators of Russia) by the airline's representative in Russia.
During the discussion, it was mentioned that tour operators played a significant role in the load factor of Jazeera Airways' flights to Montenegro and Cyprus.
"Considering the strong sales results, travel companies have already submitted requests for the continuation of these programmes in the summer season of 2024," stated the company's representative.
It's worth recalling that in 2023, Jazeera Airways operated flights between Larnaca and Kuwait from April to the end of October, offering a single layover of approximately 2-4 hours to/from Moscow.

Finnair has just opened ticket sales for flights between Larnaca and Helsinki for the summer season of 2024.

The "Larnaca Airport" account announced the sale of lost passenger luggage at €2.99 per suitcase. The post from this page claimed that the airport management decided to dispose of unclaimed baggage from the last nine months as storage areas were overflowing and the owners of the suitcases had not been found. Photos of suitcases, laid out in rows or piles, were also published, among them yellow price tags.
In a conversation with Cyprus Mail, an official representative of the airport confirmed that the page is a hoax and reported that authorities have been informed to block the page. Some of the photos of the luggage and the airport itself were taken from the official Hermes website, but the added price tag is a fabrication.
