The Schengen visa will increase by 12% from 11th June, according to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
"The European Commission has decided to increase the cost of a short-term Schengen visa worldwide by 12% from 11th June 2024. The new cost of a Schengen visa will be 90€ for adults and 45€ for children aged 6 to 12 years," ATOR cites the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
The increase is due to the need to revise visa fees every three years, taking into account inflation and average wages. The planned increase was announced at the beginning of the year.
