From coast to coast, 21% of respondents deem it "poor timing," with 46% describing it as "very poor" for a carbon tax increase. Moreover, 45% of Canadians now believe higher gas prices from a carbon tax aren't an effective way to reduce fuel consumption – up from 36% in 2019.
