We’ve now reached the *Floral Fantasy* stop upon the Wheel of the Year up here in the Northern Hemisphere 💐🎉 (and down South the leaves show how beautiful it is to let go 🍂✨)
This cross-quarter day is the midpoint between the Vernal/Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice, technically the beginning of Summer, as the solstice is known as Midsummer 💡
I love harmonizing with Nature’s rhythmic cycles this way, as seasons fade in & out. So while we are taught that the quarter days—solstices + equinoxes—are the start of a season, in the olde ways, they are the midpoints.
Cross-quarter days are the true genesis of each new season. Now we welcome Beltane, the dawn of Summer, in the North ☀️ while my friends from the South welcome Samhain, the advent of Winter ❄️
