For over a year and a half and counting, we have been robbed of the ability to live our lives fully, to make meaningful choices for ourselves, and to express our values the way we see fit. It is “just” the inability to express our humanity and the total negation of our very selves. All of these measures have served as a prohibition of expressing outwardly one’s valid and complex internal reality. This kind of suppression of self does violence to one’s very soul.

Where would we be today without Twitter there to continually remind us that independent thought is the most dangerous thing of all?

As vaccination status becomes Progressives' shibboleth, “vaccine hesitancy” is quickly becoming the contemporary version of the White Man’s Burden, though of course they are too politically correct to use such language these days.

By encouraging segregation, especially segregation that they know will have a disparate impact on people of color whom they claim to have sympathies towards, they have become not only hypocrites, but accomplices in evil.

Here are a few closing thoughts from this year on who the true rebels are, the banality of evil, superficiality in politics and media, and a plea to curb emergency powers. It sounds disjointed when I write it out like that, but in my mind it flows. 😁
