Bit of an early update as it is technically not yet Monday, but here is the latest:
βοΈ Responses to emails have started going out and will continue to go out tomorrow on my first official day back in office.
βοΈ Patrons sending in preorders for their monthly rewards will find themselves being sorted into March's queue tonight and tomorrow. My Patreon is PAUSED for the months of January and February as I handle my commission queue.
βοΈ Commission work never really stopped during my holiday, but it will continue as normal going forward until my Patreon resumes March 1. Clients inquiring about their art and edits will start receiving responses tonight and on Monday. There will be a small commission opening later in January, exact date and time to be announced.

βοΈ I am presently working on issuing sketches for those who have yet to receive their first WIP back for their artwork. More WIPs are scheduled to go out later today and throughout the remainder of January and February.
β At this time I am wrapping up the oldest pieces in my queue. These oldest pieces included three illustrations which demand more time and attention than my other styles. Due to the time needed on each piece, this may give the appearance of slow updates on my Trello. I want to assure clients that I am working diligently on subsequent pieces in my queue during breaks away from these larger pieces. [Pausing work on an art piece for an evening and returning to it the following morning grants a fresh perspective, allowing me to better catch potential errors]. My Trello is located here . It is also readily linked in both my Carrd and on my website's About page, as well in as the footer of my emails.
π¬ To those that may be unfamiliar: A scheduling conflict between my commission work and Patreon in 2023 has resulted in a small backlog to accumulate regarding my commissions, and thus I am dedicating the months of January and February to resolving it. I will do my best to respond within the same day or by the following day's afternoon. Please note I am out of office on weekends and any emails sent in late on Friday or over the weekend will be handled on Monday.

As some are already aware, there was a recent theft issue of the adoptable base templates I offer as rewards to my Character Creator and Sticker Hoarder tiers in late April. As part of the action necessary to mitigate the situation, April's adoptable base rewards needed to be individually delivered to patrons - inevitably stirring a backlog across my inbox and work that I am still presently handling.
Β· As a precautionary measure, the Character Creator tier has been limited.
Β· Patrons of the Sticker Hoarder tiers will continue to see their delayed April rewards return to them into this week, with all April rewards fulfilled by Friday, May 9. May rewards for the Sticker Hoarder tiers have already begun to go out.
Β· Patrons of the aforementioned tiers should refer to this update post for instructions on how to obtain adoptable base templates during the month of May.
PATREON PAUSE
My Patreon will be paused starting in June for my scheduled summer pause. Patrons will not be billed their monthly pledges starting June 1, and no new rewards will be issued. While my Patreon is scheduled to resume September 1, it is likely my Patreon will be paused for the remainder of 2024. I will be revisiting this in late August and informing patrons of any changes. Patrons will not be billed their monthly pledge amount during any month that my Patreon is paused.
π¬ COMMUNICATIONS
Due to last month's Patreon issue, this has staggered email correspondence. This may necessitate additional time for responses. I will continue to work to handle incoming emails at the earliest convenience, my deepest apologies for this delay.
βοΈ COMMISSIONS AND OWED WORK
Regretfully, the above mentioned issue has imposed a stall regarding the progress of owed work and commissions. At this time I have made adjustments to my schedule to ensure adequate time is set aside daily for Patreon, emails, and owed work on my working days [Monday through Friday].
An additional column has been temporarily added to my Trello: Update Requested. While incoming requests for updates are marked accordingly in my inbox, this serves to assure those clients that that their request has been acknowledged - even if I cannot respond to their email right away. Updates will be issued as emails are responded to chronologically. This column will be removed in June when my Patreon is paused, ergo negating the need for it. My Trello is available here.
While updates and completed work will be slow in May, there will be a scheduled surge of completed works and updates going out in June.

With July fast approaching, I want to add my annual reminder regarding Art Fight:
I will be continuously working on owed art throughout the month of July while I participate in the annual online art game. Owed work will not be neglected in favour of this event. PATREON PAUSE
My Patreon will be paused starting in June for my scheduled summer pause. Patrons will not be billed their monthly pledges starting June 1, and no new rewards will be issued. While my Patreon is scheduled to resume September 1, it is likely my Patreon will be paused for the remainder of 2024. I will be revisiting this in late August and informing patrons of any changes. Patrons will not be billed their monthly pledge amount during any month that my Patreon is paused.
π¬ COMMUNICATIONS
Due to last month's Patreon issue, this has staggered email correspondence. This may necessitate additional time for responses. I will continue to work to handle incoming emails at the earliest convenience, my deepest apologies for this delay.
βοΈ COMMISSIONS AND OWED WORK
Regretfully, the above mentioned issue has imposed a stall regarding the progress of owed work and commissions. At this time I have made adjustments to my schedule to ensure adequate time is set aside daily for Patreon, emails, and owed work on my working days [Monday through Friday].
An additional column has been temporarily added to my Trello: Update Requested. While incoming requests for updates are marked accordingly in my inbox, this serves to assure those clients that that their request has been acknowledged - even if I cannot respond to their email right away. Updates will be issued as emails are responded to chronologically. This column will be removed in June when my Patreon is paused, ergo negating the need for it. My Trello is available here.
While updates and completed work will be slow in May, there will be a scheduled surge of completed works and updates going out in June.

With July fast approaching, I want to add my annual reminder regarding Art Fight:
I will be continuously working on owed art throughout the month of July while I participate in the annual online art game. Owed work will not be neglected in favour of this event. Clients are more than welcome to reach out to me at godbirdart@gmail.com if they have questions or concerns regarding their owed work.
