Faux fu! 💫
(Raw, veganic, soya-free “tofu”)
Happy Springtime
The "eggs" were made from seeds, sea moss, and a little bit of coconut.
Similar formulation to the "FauxFu" shown in the previous pic.
The filling was made from some of that mixture (in hardened format––scooped from the "eggs" after setting), blended in the food processor with avocado, turmeric, homemade fermented brown mustard, kala namak, & a bit of pine nut/pili nut "mayonnaise"
Recipe still in development, but my tester said that they tasted good.
That said, my tester is a European who had also never before encountered actual devilled eggs

"Don't eat anything with the "Apeel" sticker on it. It just appeared in our grocery stores saw it for the first time today. The cucumbers not wraped in plastic but there's a big sign says coated in Apeel to protect freshness and reduced plastic waste. The cucumbers also have a sticker on them with the word Apeel. I checked the company out its funded by Bill Gates and others and the WEF indorses it. And i checked there website out you can't find any info about what exactly is apeel. Look at the frequently asked questions. They even tell you there don't buy it if your worried. In Canada so far it's just on cucumbers and maybe apples. In the US it's avocados, apples and I think limes and lemons maybe cucumbers too. The company is very mysterious about what the product actually is. And it can't be washed off no mater how much scrubbing it even says this on the website in the FAQ. Supposedly it can make produce last up to 3 times longer. Also suddenly the price of cucumbers dropped today to just over $3 for 3 cucumbers in a pack or $1.27 a cucumber they really want people to buy these cucumbers." Safety data sheet says : APEEL Hazard statements H318 Causes serious eye damage. H317 May cause an allergic skin reaction. H412 Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Precautionary statements P280 Wear protective gloves/ protective clothing/ eye protection/ face protection. P302+P352 IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. https://www.evansvanodine.co.uk/assets/eng_apeel.pdf
In less than one month I would normally attempt to celebrate my 33rd year of adherence to "veganism" since having formally aligned myself with the established philosophy circa 1990. However, I now feel more inclined than ever to completely divorce myself from the movement (or at least the term "vegan"––as the entire thing seems to have been co-opted by demonic scumbag charlatans) - https://www.livekindly.com/bill-gates-is-backing-vegan-food-tech-company-apeel-sciences-making-avocados-last-50-longer/

I love traveling, indulging in Epsom salt baths, and savoring Detox Smoothies. These self-care activities have their merits and I hold a positive outlook on them. However, the true essence of my statement lies beyond the enjoyment of these experiences. It revolves around the idea that rather than relying solely on fleeting pleasures like traveling, detox baths and smoothies, we should actively strive to shape our lives according to our deepest desires every single day.

My main message emphasizes the importance of finding joy in our daily lives. Instead of considering travel as the only means of breaking free from our routines, we should cultivate a life that doesn't require an escape. I no longer count down the days until the weekend; in fact, I relish Mondays as much as I do Saturdays. It's about cherishing each day, living in the now, and creating a fulfilling life that encompasses daily enjoyment.

You might wonder, how you do this, Dr. Group? Below are some ideas to help get you started:

🌿 Protect your time - no matter what.
🌿 Do something good for your health on a daily basis.
🌿 Find happiness in your day.
🌿Look for the good in everything, yes, even in difficult trials.
🌿 Savor Monday just as you would Saturday. Stay in the now.

And here is one to grow on: Learn how to say "No" and mean it. It may take some practice, but once you have it down, the freedom it gives is exhilarating!

I sometimes miss doing the Thanksgiving (aka “ThanksLIVING” since I fully transitioned to an entirely raw lifestyle in 2006) thing in the USA, so we made a big raw/living veganic food feast for yesterday—and overate accordingly. 🤭
These photos are the result of our blissfully productive collaboration! 😊
I thought about inviting other USA people to share our dinner, but don’t really know many expats in the U.K… Also, Alex and I took ages to style and photograph all of the food, and I passed out on the sofa during dessert #2 (so keeping it low-key with just us was probably for the best).
Anyway, I’m feeling super happy/grateful for this experience and thinking of it as a sort of rehearsal dinner to inspire, motivate & prepare us for several pop up events we’ve been aiming to organise for the holiday season ahead.
