● The name stems from the Sanskrit words "ashwa" for horse and "gandha" for smell, owing to its roots' distinctive odor resembling that of a wet horse.

- Medicinal Uses: Regarded as an adaptogen, it aids the body in coping with stressors and promoting overall balance and well-being.

● Contains withanolides, naturally occurring steroid compounds associated with potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties
