Whether aching for connection in a room full of people or content in absolute solitude, in this pandemic the feeling of loneliness is no stranger to most of us. What is Loneliness? Recently I took a closer look at loneliness, exploring how it impacts eachβ¦
We all have these moments of questioning and uncertainty to varying degrees throughout our lives. This is a small sign of personal development. Growth can be a good thing but sometimes it must occur with a few growing pains along the way. This pain can manifest in many ways. Do you ruminate, feel defensive, avoid certain difficult tasks, distract yourself with addictive behavior etc?
From time to time we all need to take a step back from our lives and try to gain a new perspective on our situations and our true sense of self.
It can be a painful process to look honestly at what is not working in our life, take responsibility to try and fix the βproblemβ and then to repeat that cycle over and over again. It can be described as an internal battle with an invisible force. I believe that force is our subconscious mind that has been programmed in such a way that it has us repeating learned patterns of behavior that donβt necessarily mesh with our authentic selves.
