It addressed pressing issues of bilateral relations, such as:

🔹 global trends in science and education;
🔹 influence of artificial intelligence on business practices, trade, labor and financial markets;
🔹 potential of the cooperation between women of Russia and the UAE.
🌐 Separate discussions were dedicated to the development of cooperation between the BRICS countries in the field of pharmaceuticals and the medical industry, as well as on the prospects for cooperation in the field of medical tourism.

⚡️ Key aspects of SPIEF 2024 international agenda highlighted at briefing for representatives of diplomatic missions in Russian MFA
According to Dmitry Birichevsky, Director of the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Russian MFA, they are as follows:
🔹 The forum will host a significantly larger number of delegates than the previous year. Countries of the Global South, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Eurasia are expected to actively attend the venue.
🔹 Priority will be given to the financial, industrial, and transportation components of the program. Specific areas of practical cooperation, issues related to energy balance, competition in fuel markets, energy transition, energy and food security, the green agenda, including “green protectionism,” will be discussed.
🔹 There is a demand for discussions regarding the involvement of more countries in international organizations and communities. BRICS will conduct several sessions on this topic, and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will organize a separate session on interaction within the B20.
🔹 Discussions on interregional cooperation with countries in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia are planned.
🔹 A new topic will include a section on the formation of the Greater Eurasian Partnership. This is a new flagship project initiated by the President of Russia. The partnership is characterized by openness, adaptability, voluntariness, and integration. Its core will include the EAEU, countries of CIS, the SCO, ASEAN, and other Eurasian states.

🔹 In the Moskovsky and Pushkinsky districts, over 255 thousand plants will be planted and more than 1.5 thousand floral compositions will be installed for the forum.
🔹 Planned road repairs along the routes of SPIEF participants will be completed by the end of May.
🔹 Issues related to ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of forum guests will be addressed jointly with the Russian Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare.
🔹 The program of cultural and sports events will be coordinated with the SPIEF organizing committee.
