Covering the Vessels and Tying Up the Water Skins

We should cover our food and drinks at night while uttering Allah‘s name. Jabir Bin ‘Abdillah (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

When the night sets in, close large jars and tie the water skins, and pronounce Allah’s name; and cover food vessels even if only by placing a stick across their opening, and pronounce Allah’s name. Indeed, the Devil would not open or uncover closed vessels.

[Recorded by al-Bukhari (3304, 5623), Muslim (2112, 2013), and others]

And Jabir (رضي الله عنه) also reported that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

Cover your vessels and tie your water skins. Indeed, one night every year, a disease (or plague) comes down (i.e., by Allah’s decree). Whenever this disease passes by an uncovered utensil or waterskin, it descends into it.
[Sahih Muslim 2014]

These hadiths teach us an important hygienic etiquette: that we should never leave uncovered food during the night. Even if we have no cover other than a twig, we should use it rather than keep the food completely uncovered. Covering the food protects against insects. lizards, and other creatures that my bring harm into it. When we do what we can, and then pronounce Allah‘s name, He will surely protects us from other harms that are beyond our normal control.

Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said:

And this is from amongst the things that the sciences of medicine cannot encompass or understand.

Seeking Medical Treatment is Sunnah

Usama b. Sharik narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

تداوَوْا عبادَ اللهِ فإنَّ اللهَ لَمْ يضَعْ داءً إلّا وضَع له دواءً

“Servants of Allah! Make use of medical treatment, for Allāh has not made any disease without creating a cure for it.”

[Authentic. Sahih Ibn Hibban: 6061, with similarly-worded reports in the other sunan collections]

The Link Between Seeking Forgiveness and Receiving Aid: Sheikh Muhammad Bazmool

One of the many sciences of the Qur’an is the study of its munasabat, meaning the links and connections between one ayah and the next, or one passage of ayaat and the next, or between one surah and the next, or between the beginning or a surah and its conclusion, and so on. In a short work devoted to this topic, Sheikh Muhammad Bazmool mentioned the following benefit related to surah al-Nasr:

In its beginning Allah mentioned aid and victory, saying:

إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّـهِ وَالْفَتْحُ

When the aid and victory of Allah has come … [110:1]

And in its end Allah mentioned repentance and seeking forgiveness, saying:

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا

Then make exaltation with the praise of your Lord and ask Him for forgiveness. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance. [110:3]

And making repentance and seeking forgiveness is the route that leads to aid and victory. Allah said:

O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and make your feet firm [47:7]

Recite 3 times Morning and Evening

‘Uthman b. ‘Affan reported that the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever recites three times in the morning and three times in the evening: ‘Bismillāhi al-ladhī lā yadurru ma’as-mihi shai’un fī al-ardi wa lā fi al-samā’i, wa huwa al-Samī’ al-‘Alīm (In the Name of Allāh with whose name there is protection against every kind of harm on earth or in heaven, and He is the All-Hearing and All-Knowing),’ nothing shall harm him.”

🫧 🍼 EVIDENCE BASED RIGHTEOUS PURPOSES  BEHIND SEEKING/WANTING CHILDREN 🫧🍼 - ( Part - 1)

To proceed:

I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)  saying : "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended".

📖 Transmitted by Al Bukhari and Muslim

Also narrated Ibn Abbas
The Prophet (ﷺ) narrating about his Lord said: "Allah ordered (the appointed angels over you) that the good and the bad deeds be written, and He then showed (the way) how (to write). If somebody intends to do a good deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write for him a full good deed (in his account with Him); and if he intends to do a good deed and actually did it, then Allah will write for him (in his account) with Him (its reward equal) from ten to seven hundred times to many more times".

📖 Transmitted by Al Bukhari and Muslim

These evidences clarify that behind every single act there is an intention and the reward for that act depends on that intention.
So what were the good intentions of the righteous people when they sought children in their lives?

In order to clarify this issue my Lord سبحانه aided me to collect some of the following evidences from the Kitaab and the Sunnah. May Allah accept this little effort and benefit with it whomsoever He سبحانه wills.

1️⃣
Seeking children to inherit ones beneficial knowledge and to succeeded after him Ulama (Scholars).

▪️
The proof of that is the statement of Allaah about the request of Zakariyya

"And Verily! I fear my relatives after me, since my wife is barren. So give me from Yourself an heir, Who shall inherit me, and inherit (also) the posterity of Ya'qub (Jacob) (inheritance of the religious knowledge and Prophethood, not the wealth, etc.). And make him, my Lord, one with whom You are Well-pleased!".

2️⃣
Seeking children to devote themselves to worshipping Allah سبحانه and religious services.

▪️

(When the wife of Imran said:
O my Lord! I have vowed to You what (the child that) is in my womb to be dedicated for Your services (free from all worldly work; to serve Your Place of worship), so accept this, from me. Verily, You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knowing.)
(Aali Imran 3:35)"

🔰
Imaam Ibnu Katheer  رحمه الله said:

The wife of Imran mentioned here is the mother of Maryam bint Imraan.

So when she became pregnant, She vowed to make her child  ( محررا - Muharraran),

Meaning : Sincerely devoting herself for worship and serving Bayt Al-Maqdis (the Masjid in Jerusalem).

so she said:
" O my Lord! I have vowed to You what (the child that) is in my womb to be dedicated for Your services (free from all worldly work; to serve Your Place of worship), so accept this, from me. Verily, You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knowing."
Meaning: The Hearer of my invocation, the All-Knowing of my intention.
3️⃣ Seeking children to worship Allaah and for His obedience alone

🔰Imaam Ibnu Katheer رحمه الله said : And His (Allaah's) statement:

(وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ)

And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring the comfort of our eyes...''

Meaning : those who ask Allah to bring forth from their loins offspring who will obey Him and worship Him and not associate anything in worship with Him.

▫️Narrated  Aisha
That she asked the Prophet (ﷺ) , 'Have you encountered a day harder than the day of the battle) of Uhud?"
The Prophet (ﷺ) replied : Your tribes have troubled me a lot, and the worse trouble was the trouble on the day of 'Aqaba when I presented myself to Ibn Abd-Yalail bin Abd-Kulal and he did not respond to my demand. So I departed, overwhelmed with excessive sorrow, and proceeded on, and could not relax till I found myself at Qarnath-Tha-alib where I lifted my head towards the sky to see a cloud shading me unexpectedly. I looked up and saw Jibreel in it. He called me saying : Allaah has heard your people's saying to you and what they have replied back to you, Allah has sent the Angel of the Mountains to you so that you may order him to do whatever you wish to these people.'
The Angel of the Mountains called and greeted me, and then said, "O Muhammad! Order what you wish. If you like, I will let Al-Akh-Shabain (i.e. two mountains) fall on them."
The Prophet (ﷺ) said :"No but I hope that Allah will let them beget children who will worship Allah Alone, and will worship None besides Him."

🫧 🍼 EVIDENCE BASED RIGHTEOUS PURPOSES  BEHIND SEEKING CHILDREN 🫧🍼 - (Part - 2)

4️⃣ Seeking children to spread the righteous people on the Earth.

▪️Ibrahim عليه السلام asked Allah سبحانه as He mentioned in His Book:

((رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
 فَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِغُلَامٍ حَلِيمٍ)) [الصافات : 100-101]

(My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous. So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy.)
(As-Saffat 37:100-101)

▪️Also Ibrahim and Ismaail عليهما السلام asked Allah سبحانه as He mentioned in His Book:

رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُسْلِمَةً لَكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيم. [البقرة: 128]

(Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manasik (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage - Hajj and 'Umrah, etc.), and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. ) (Al-Baqarah 2:128)

▪️Also Ibrahim عليه السلام asked Allah سبحانه as He mentioned in His Book:

(O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in an uncultivable valley by Your Sacred House (the Ka'bah at Makkah); in order, O our Lord, that they may perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), so fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and (O Allah) provide them with fruits so that they may give thanks.) (Ibrahim 14:37)

▪️Nooh عليه السلام asked Allah سبحانه as He mentioned in His Book:

(وَقَالَ نُوحٌ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا (26) إِنَّكَ إِنْ تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوا عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوا إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا)

(And Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth! If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers.")

🔰Imaam Ibnu Katheer رحمه الله said commenting on this verse:

"Meaning : wicked in their deeds and disbelieving in their hearts. He (Nuh) said this due to what he knew about them since he remained among them for nine hundred and fifty years."

▪️Also Allah سبحانه says:

 "وَالْبَلَدُ الطَّيِّبُ يَخْرُجُ نَبَاتُهُ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِ وَالَّذِي خَبُثَ لَا يَخْرُجُ إِلَّا نَكِدًا كَذَلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَشْكُرُونَ"
 [الأعراف : 58]

( The vegetation of a good land comes forth (easily) by the Permission of its Lord, and that which is bad, brings forth nothing but a little with difficulty. Thus do We explain variously the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) for a people who give thanks.)

🔰Imaam Ibnu Katheer رحمه الله said commenting on this verse: as Allah said - in another verse :-
"فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا " [آل عمران : 37]
"So her Lord (Allaah) accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner".

5️⃣ Seeking children to increase the  population of the People of Truth, which is means of making the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم happy on the Day of Resurrection.

▫️From the Hadith narrated by Ma'qil ibn Yasar:
" A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: I have found a woman of rank and beauty, but she does not give birth to children. Should I marry her? He said: No. He came again to him, but he prohibited him. He came to him third time, and he (the Prophet) said: Marry women who are loving and very prolific, for I shall outnumber the nations by you."

📖 Transmitted by Sunan Abi Dawud.(2/ 220)
Authenticated by the two Imaams Al-Albani and Al-Wadi'i and he said: "it is a refutation against those who encourage birth-control."
6️⃣ Seeking children to support the religion of Allaah and fight (and strive) in the path of Allaah and for the cause of Him سبحانه.

▫️Imaam al-Bukhari رحمه الله said:

"Chapter : The one who seeks a child for jihad in the way of Allah".

🔰Imam ibn Hajar says in his explanation Fathhu-l-Bari : His statement : "Chapter : The one who seeks a child for jihad in the way of Allah".

Meaning : He intends while having intercourse to have a child to strive in the path of Allaah and he will get by that a reward even if that doesn't happen.

Then Imaam al-Bukhari quoted the following Hadith as proof for the chapter above:

▫️Narrated Abu Huraira
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)  said: "(The Prophet) Sulaiman once said: Tonight I will sleep with ninety women, each of whom will bring forth a (would-be) cavalier who will fight in Allah's Cause." On this, his companion said to him : "Say: Allah willing!" But he did not say Allah willing. Sulaiman then slept with all the women, but none of them became pregnant but one woman who later delivered a halfman. By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, if he (Sulaiman) had said: 'Allah willing' (all his wives would have brought forth boys) and they would have fought in Allah's Cause as cavaliers. "
📖 Transmitted by Al Bukhari and Muslim

7️⃣ Seeking righteous children who will be a reason for seeking forgiveness for their parents and a reason for elevating their ranks in Jannah.

▫️Narrated Abu Huraira
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)  said: "lndeed Allah will raise the  ranks for the righteous slave in Paradise, so he will say: 'Where did this come from o my Lord ?' And He - Allah- will say -in reply-: (- that's - Because of your child seeking  forgiveness for you.")
In another narration:
(- that's - Because of your child invoking for you.")

📖Transmitted by Ahmad with an authentic chain of narration.

▫️Narrated Abu Hurairah
That the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:" When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity, or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious child, who prays for him (for the deceased)"
📖 Transmitted by Muslim

... The End

Giving gifts on the occasion of a newborn

Shaikh Salih al-Fawzan hafidhuhallah was asked:

Question:

We have with us a custom [that] many people [do]. It is called a gift for the newborn and that is, if anyone is granted a newborn boy or girl, the people, when they visit them, give that newborn boy or girl a gift. The people are familiar with this. This also occurs when someone moves to a new house or gets married. So does that have an origin in the legislation of Allah, the Exalted? And does doing this action in this form [be known to be] forbidden in the legislation?

Answer:

“There is no harm in giving a newborn a gift and giving a gift to the people of a new house or for the one who gets married, except they should not exaggerate in that and it should not be obligated upon the poor who are not able. It is only an issue of choice. There is no blame in it because that is from high morals and good customs. The Prophet sallalhu alayhi wa salam said:

‏تهادوا وتحابوا

Give presents to each other and love each other

[Reported by Malik in the Muwatta and others. Graded Hasan by al-Albani in Irwaa no. 1601]

In that there is the assistance for the one who is getting married and is in need or furnishing the new house of one who is poor”.

[Muntaqa min Fatawa al-Fawzan no. 301]

Ruling on writing Āyāt on paper and dissolving it in water as a form of Ruqyah

QUESTION: What is the ruling on placing a peice of paper containing Āyāt from the Qur'ān in water then dissolving it and drinking the water for the purpose of Ruqyah.

ANSWER (Sheikh Rashād Adh-Dhali'ee hafidhahullah):

This issue, as we discussed, is an issue of differing amongst the scholars. The view of Imam Ahmad, which was favoured by Shaykhul Islam, Ibnul Qayyim, and also reported from some of Salaf, is that it is permissible - if it is known to contain benefit. Imam Ahmad used to practice it, and it is reported from some of the Salaf that they practiced it as well.

So if a person does it and perceives benefit from it, it is permissible. This comes under "Ruyqyah by means of the Qur'ān", akin to reciting on water and blowing on it.

Furthermore, it is mentioned in the ḥadīth:
((لا بأس بالرقى ما لم تكن شركا))
"There is no harm in Ruqyah as long as it does not involve Shirk."

So if it is void of Shirk, like in this case, then there is nothing wrong with it.

However, it is better to perform Ruqyah by reading Qur'ān directly upon the patient or the effected area, as this is what has been reported from the Prophet ﷺ.

Aishah radhiyallaahu anha said: "If some members of his household fell ill, he ﷺ would perform Ruqyah by saying:
أذهب الباس رب الناس...
"Remove the ailment, O Lord of the people..."

Sometimes, he would perform Ruqyah on an injury by placing some of his saliva on his finger and touching the ground in order to attract dirt, then he would place that on the wound and say:
باسم الله تربة أرضنا بريقة بعضنا يشفى بها سقيمنا بإذن ربنا
"In the Name of Allah. The dust of our ground with the saliva of some of us serves as a means of cure for our sick with the permission of our Lord."

Therefore, if one reads on the patient directly, then this is better, and this is what has come from the Prophet ﷺ. But if one does what has preceded; by reading upon a vessel containing water and then blowing in it and drinking that, then this was a practice of the Salaf. Likewise, if one places written Āyāt of the Qur'ān into water, this has also come from some of the Salaf, so whoever practices this is not to be censured.

#Four_Fundamental_Principles

    💎Benefits from the book💎

        🏛️ The Four Principles 🏛️

by Shaykh Muhammad Abdul Wahab An-Najdee (رحمه الله)

🔹Explained by: Shaikh Muhammad ba Jamaal (حفظه الله)

🍃 The True Meaning of Barakah

In the second dua of Shaikh Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab رحمه الله he wrote, “And (I ask Allaah) to bless you wherever you are.”

Shaykh Muhammad Baa Jammaal (may Allaah preserve him) said:

"And that He makes you blessed where ever you may be
. This is a good dua (supplication). The teacher should  make Dua for the student. (He should say to the student, for example): "Read, and may Allaah grant you success", or "Read, if you want Allaah to be your wali and take care of you in the worldly life and the hereafter," or "Read, I ask Allaah to make you blessed where ever you are." (This is) a great Dua which encourages one to do good, listen to it, and obtain it. So the author is making Dua for the student, the reader of this book, the listener (who's taking a class for example) that Allaah makes you blessed wherever you are.

Barakah (blessing) linguistically means: continuance and growth. And in the legislation (technically) some have defined it as the attachment of divine goodness to something. And some say it is the abundance of anything good.

Therefore the word barakah means that there's a lot of good (in something) and in addition to that it (the goodness) is continuous.  Know, that many people pursue many different ways in order to increase in their wealth. And so the money increases, however it does not last. The money increases, and so do the afflictions. The child dies, or he falls sick. The house collapses, the car crashes. Afflictions (occur). Is this money blessed? Is there any barakah in this money? (No!) This money is a punishment. It is a lot but there is no barakah in it.

And on the other hand there's a person who's sweating, tired from his hard work, and he strives to earn the halaal (lawful). He makes little money, however Allaah the Mighty and Majestic  places barakah in the little that he makes from this wealth which is from halaal earnings. True, he may eat white rice with a little bit of tomatoes (simple food), and a low grade lakhm (type of fish), however he has barakah in his health, barakah in his children, barakah in his family, barakah in his house, barakah in his ride, barakah in his livelihood, he even finds barakah in his (dealings with) his father, mother, and relatives. Their situation and affairs are good while the money is little, and the food is little. However there is  baarakah in it. But on the other hand that (other person) has no barakah.

So one must stay away from the haraam and haraam earnings, (one must stay away from) eating from the haraam, drinking from the haraam, and wearing the haraam. For all these are from the means of not obtaining barakah. And this Dua from the author is extracted from the statement of Eesa- (Jesus) may Allaah's peace and blessings be upon him.

{وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَانِي بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا}

"And He has made me mubaarak (blessed wherever I may be), and has enjoined on me Salat (prayer), and Zakat, as long as I live." [Surah Maryam, Verse 31]

And Allaah the Most High commanded Nuh (Noah) peace be upon him to ask his Lord for baarakah:

{وَقُل رَّبِّ أَنزِلْنِي مُنزَلًا مُّبَارَكًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنزِلِينَ}

"And say: "My Lord! Cause me to land at a blessed landing-place, for You are the Best of those who bring to land." [Surah Al-Mumenoon, Verse 29]

So this is an affair which is sought. The servant should make Dua (for barakah), and say (for instance):  "O Allaah bless me  in my hearing and in my sight" (O Allaah) bless my heart, bless me in my wealth, and so forth. Therefore this is a tremendous Dua. For indeed if Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic if he makes you blessed and  blesses you wherever you are, then this is the utmost goal which  is sought and i
t is the greatest of earnings. So you will be blessed in your provision, and in your wealth, in your statements, in your actions, in your hearing, in your offspring. You will be blessed wherever you are, and wherever you go. Rather whoever walks with you will feel that Allaah has blessed you.

So barakah is found in many things: In Makkah, in Madeenah, in the Haramain (The two sacred mosques), and likewise in the Qur'an. Rather in some of the righteous people. However people began to look for barakah in ways which was not legislated. How is that? They say Allaah the Mighty and Majestic has informed that this house is what? Mubaarak (blessed). And so they start to wipe and rub on its walls seeking barakah. And they wipe on its soil, seeking barakah. And they wipe on the Maqaam Ibrahim (station of Ibraahim) seeking barakah. Is this the barakah which is being referred to? The answer is no. The barakah which is talked about is that one prayer in it (al-Masjid al-Haraam in Makkah) is the equivalent of one hundred thousand prayers offered (in other mosques, apart from al-Masjid an-Nabawi). This is the barakah that is found (there). In the Haraam Al-Madani (the Prophet's mosque) (the barakah of that masjid) is that one prayer in it is the equivalent of a thousand prayers offered (elsewhere). This is the barakah (which is associated with these places). Did the Prophet ﷺ and his companions use to seek barakah with its walls? They didn't use to do that because this is not the legislated barakah.

And likewise the Quran, Allaah the Mighty and Majestic has informed that it is blessed or not? The answer is yes. Now you find some people wiping/rubbing on the Mushaf. (You see a person) wiping his face on it, and rubbing his hands on it.  Is this the correct way to obtain the barakah of the Qur'an? The answer is no. Allaah The Mighty and Majestic said:

{كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ}

"(This is) a Book (the Quran) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember."
[Surah Sad, Verse 29]

This is the barakah which is being referred to. And likewise Allaah, The Most High said:

{وَهَٰذَا كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَاتَّقُوا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ}

"And this is a blessed Book (the Quran) which We have sent down, so follow it and fear Allah (i.e. do not disobey His Orders), that you may receive mercy (i.e. saved from the torment of Hell.)" [Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 155.]

So if you want to attain the barakah of the Qur'aan then ponder over its aayaat (verses) and follow it. (This way) you'll obtain the barakah of the Qur'aan. As for wiping over the Qur'an while going against what is in it, then this a means for the barakah to be destroyed. Yes! O servants of Allaah. So if a person wants to be blessed, he must hold on to Tawheed, he must hold on to the sunnah, he must hold on to the Quran, he must hold on to the righteous good deeds, and he must follow that which the righteous salaf (predecessors) were upon, and he should not follow his desires. He must have the good, lawful  earnings. This is from the means of obtaining barakah. And when barakah is present in something, the goodness in it will remain, increase, and grow. Therefore this is  a tremendous dua, or is it not? It's a tremendous dua: "And (I ask Allaah) to make you blessed where ever you may be." At any place .

Some people will pull you along and they'll find barakah. They'll find barakah! However do not let them wipe over you. People have gone over the extremes in this. So and so Allaah has blessed him in so many ways . So  when he dies they wipe and rub themselves with his dust, slaughter for him, pray next to his grave, and they call on Allaah at his grave site. Why? Seeking barakah. This is not the legislated way (of seeking barakah). This is from bida'h (innovations). This is from the types of Shirk and a means from its means. Therefore barakah should be sought from its proper channels and places. And
one should take every precautionary measure from the ways of shirk and from its doors.

It is reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:

"There is none better in the sight of Allāh than a believer who lives a long life in Islām [spending it] in His tasbīh, His takbīr and His tahlīl."
