Tales of Destiny is a pretty good starting place. You've definitely heard of the best starters (the trio of games that came out on 3 seperate consoles - Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia) but its nearly impossible to play Symphonia in a way that is good, Abyss Sucks For Real I Mean That, and Vesperia is pretty good - if you have a Switch/Steamdeck I'd reccommend it ——— i will probably start with Destiny, since it's the most easily accessible for me ATM (i can just boot it into my Vita)
