The two urban climate initiatives provide more cooling trees and green spaces. This is good for health, quality of life and biodiversity. They also provide safe cycle paths, lively meeting zones and prioritize public transport so that we can travel safely and in a climate-friendly way. Cities such as Utrecht, Barcelona and Paris are already showing how more trees and changes in favor of climate-friendly mobility can improve quality of life in a short space of time.
