what are some of your favorite things from your culture? ——— Traditional dances, traditional foods, traditional music and most importantly, the way we are finally using kreyòl everywhere, especially in academia. We were discouraged if not forbidden to use our own language for DECADES in academic settings and seeing how French is (finally) taking a backseat in our daily lives truly makes me happy.
