SHIN YOU HAVE TO KNOW THIS. it's stated that snezhnayans add a little perfume to all their letters to be romantic, cause love god, duh Ajax scenting his letters to Kaeya with a customized perfume, just so Kaeya is constantly reminded of him by the smell is one of the most cheesy teenage romance move I can think of What scent would he use though? ——— OMG I LOVE THAT thank you for telling me i'm so slow at playing through content so i probably wouldn't have found out for like another six months lol </3 hmm this is tough, personally i feel like childe would have kind of a summery, energetic atmosphere about him from what we've seen of him so far (despite being from snezhnaya, or maybe even in spite of it... 🤔) so maybe citrus-based scents like bitter oranges, bergamots, lemons - things that kind of feel like a warm and lazy summer day but can also lull you into a false sense of security. i'd also like to think there'd be hints of sea salt hehe i think kaeya would realise what he's doing and while he finds it extremely cheesy he can't help but feel warm at the thought of childe trying to send a lingering memory of him when he's away... maybe kaeya decides to send one back with his own cologne/customised scents and childe nearly passes out lol
