Longest commission you've ever gotten? ——— Eh? Do you mean like, longest time I've waited to get one? 🤔 There was an artist who I will begrudgingly avoid naming who I had to wait just a little under a year for. I don't necessarily mind waiting but my issue was the complete lack of transparency. After waiting that long they continued to open new slots! And whenever I messaged them they didn't respond! The crazy part was this was on FurAffinity, where you can tell when someone opens your messages. They were acutally just opening my messages and ignoring them. And i tried multiple times! I only finally got a response after going out of my way to message one of their other commissioners about their status, in which case they DMed me with a "sorry if I forgot etc etc" and I just asked for a refund. The refund didn't include the Paypal fee they had me pay of course, but I didn't feel like arguing 🤔 Transparency is important, people!
