As somebody who is well-versed in Japanese, how difficult would you consider reading Monogatari in JP? Do you think there's enough subtext in the Japanese version that is lost in translation to warrant learning japanese in order to properly understand the full scope of Monogatari's narrative? ——— Haven't read Nisio yet but from what I've heard he balances being snappy and having a lot of depth.
