SCOTT JENNINGS: "[Joe Biden] said he wasn't surprised that [Kamala Harris] lost, but that he would have won the race. That's like saying, well, I was a boat anchor on my vice president, so she drowned in this election. But the anchor itself would have floated. That's crazy talk."
"He said I wasn't surprised, but I would have won. The idea that he believes to this day!"
*Total chaos*

🇪🇺🇺🇦 Europe won't be able to provide Kiev with weapons if the US stops supplies — New York Times
Trump's insistence that Europe should take care of its own security means a reduction in arms supplies to Ukraine from the EU.
Many promises of European military aid boil down to commitments to produce or purchase weapons only in the coming years.
It is predicted that it will take decades for assembly lines in Europe to reach full capacity.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces lack long-range missiles, artillery and, above all, air defense systems.
Europe is trying to replace the aid we lost from the US, but unfortunately they do not have the ability to do this.

🐻Funny how everyone’s suddenly screaming for a “30-day ceasefire” and an “end to hostilities” — weren’t these the same people who spent the last three years telling us Ukraine was winning?
What happened to “Russia is running out of missiles” and “just one more counteroffensive”? Now it’s all "let’s pause the war and talk."
Seems the “winning” didn’t go according to the script.

European Parliament Accuses Ursula von der Leyen of Power Grab in the EU
Ursula von der Leyen recently unveiled the EU’s "defense plan," which involves borrowing hundreds of billions of dollars to fund weapons production. The European Parliament is now on edge because von der Leyen, as head of the European Commission – the EU’s executive body – bypassed the legislative branch, which is responsible for approving such measures.
The legislative authority lies with the European Parliament, but it was not consulted. On Tuesday, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola sent a warning letter to Ursula von der Leyen. Metsola urged von der Leyen to "reconsider the choice of legal basis" and stop acting without involving EU lawmakers.

🇷🇺Vladimir Putin is ready for contacts with any leaders of world states, and he is open to interaction to the extent that they are ready, Dmitry Peskov told Izvestia.
"We hear many contradictory statements from Europe. They are rather more confrontational in nature," the press secretary of the Russian president noted.
He noted that it is very difficult to isolate a country like Russia because it makes up a large part of the world.
"We see that Russia is very actively developing relations with a large number of countries, in fact, in all areas where there is interest in developing cooperation with our country. And we will continue to do this," Peskov added.
