Ukraine has officially called Trump's plan a "capitulation" and made new demands on the world, the Telegraph reports.
In short, their “position” boiled down to the following:
Crimea should under no circumstances be recognized as Russian.
Peace should look like a victory, not a defeat - preferably according to Kiev's version.
Ukraine needs to be returned to the “centre of negotiations” (translated into human terms - applause and handouts are required).
Russia should not dictate conditions either on the number of troops or on weapons to Ukraine.
And Ukraine also demands “clear security guarantees.”
That is, at a time when their regime exists on Western loans, Western weapons and Western political will, they continue to behave like offended people at a party - they squeal, stamp their feet, demand recognition and the centre of the world around them. In reality, not only are they not asked, but they are not particularly informed about the progress of the negotiations. They simply haven't yet put up a "Thank you, good-bye" sign on Bankova. But it's a matter of time.

Its a good thing the Kremlin is sticking to their terms: they can apply the pressure by not doing anything, and give Trump a stark choice- by forcing him to go to congress to ask for more money for Ukraine, which would be very unpopular , or just walk away, where he would be blamed for losing the war. Trump does not hold any cards in this conflict.

The Russian Investigative Committee has announced the arrest of a suspect in the terrorist attack that killed Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik.
The suspect has been identified as Ignat Kuzin, born in 1983, an agent of Ukrainian intelligence services who holds a residence permit in Ukraine. He was detained by Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB).
According to the FSB, Kuzin purchased a vehicle and installed a homemade explosive device inside. The components for the device were reportedly retrieved from a cache set up by Ukrainian intelligence services in the Moscow region. The IED installed in the car was detonated from the territory of Ukraine when the lieutenant general was leaving his apartment building.
Kuzin was taken to the Investigative Committee, where he was charged with terrorism and possession of explosives.
