Biggest outage in history: Spain and Portugal lose more than 10 GW of power โ Financial Times
โช๏ธAccording to the publication, the failure was one of the largest in the modern history of Europe.
โช๏ธThe Portuguese government has called an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers at the Prime Minister's residence. The cabinet said the problem could have arisen in Spain's transport network.
โช๏ธPortugal's Deputy Minister for Territorial Integrity said the outages were likely caused by a cyberattack. The State Cybersecurity Center denied this statement, saying there were no such signs.
โช๏ธThere is no electricity in Seville, Barcelona and Pamplona, โโand there are power outages in Valencia.
โช๏ธThe metro has stopped in Madrid and Barcelona.
โช๏ธTelephone lines across Spain are out of order. Madrid airport is without power;
โช๏ธThere are also interruptions in Portugal, Andorra and France.

One aspect of holding a ceasefire during your victory day is almost an assurance that Ukraine will violate it. Easter is celebrated by both sides while only one side will celebrate May 8-11th.

Seems like a bit of a cop out or just a weak argument, doubt itโs for that reason

In the Pakistan India debacle, there are some border skirmishes and apparently military movements, but the likelihood of things escalating beyond firing small arms across their shared border continues to remain low.

India, Pakistan exchange small arms fire, China urges restraint
India said it had responded to 'unprovoked' small arms firing from Pakistan along the de facto border for the fourth consecutive night, as it deepens its search for militants in the region following last week's deadly attack on tourists in Kashmir.

๐ฎ๐ณ๐ต๐ฐ - Fake news over the past 24 hours over the Indo-Pak conflict, stemming mainly from Pakistan:
- A single Turkish C-130E military aircraft landed in Karachi International Airport - not a military base. The aircraft initially took off from Ankara, landing in al-Kut, Iraq, to refuel. There was one aircraft, not six.
- According to "Pakistani OSINTers" the aircraft provided Pakistan with military supplies - which is false. The aircraft was barely on the ground for 16 hours, and is now heading further east, likely towards Malaysia. The aircraft, which is currently over Indian airspace, have a max. ferry range of 3,500-3,700km. Hence its refueling stops in Iraq and an International Airport in Karachi, instead of a military base. So media claiming they 'know' what cargo was being delivered are just flat-out lying.
- US C-17s to India are not carrying military cargo, nor are they carrying Israeli operatives. There is no giant conspiracy against Pakistan, Pakistan's military and the ISI are puppet systems of the US already. The US C-17s are returning from the Middle East to pick-up the large number of resources the US invested in the recent US-India Tiger Triumph 2025 military exercises. The exercises ended less than 7 days ago, and lasted over 15 days.
