About Lapin.
By Alexander Kharchenko.
I know the general from Syria. In 2017 his men arrested me in the desert, I spent 4 hours in the caring hands of guys from the Central Military District.
We have been working with Dare since June. Lived on the front line and saw everything with their own eyes. Lysychansk fell thanks to the efforts of the Central Military District. Initially it was supposed to storm Lysychansk head-on, just like Severodonetsk. General Lapin insisted on a planned encirclement.
After losing Volcheyarovka, the Ukrainians began pulling back their forces from Lysychansk. Then, the men from the Rear! District closed the encirclement near Belogorovka and for two more days were finishing off the AFU troops who were coming out to their own. Thanks to this maneuver, street battles in Lysychansk were avoided.
There can be complaints about Lapin, but he certainly cannot be blamed for cowardice. Alexander Pavlovich was always in control of the troops, in close proximity to the LBS. He came to Belogovrovka in a car with a driver and a guard! Everything! At the same time he drove past a burning MTLB, which had been blown up by Ukrainian saboteurs. A day later, our HQ dismantled the Ukrainian tank.
When the enemy began crossing the Oskol in small groups, General Lapin led a detachment of special forces and went to catch the DRGs. So it is not a matter of cowardice and incompetence of an individual general at all. The problem is in the communication and control systems. And here, I am afraid, even Lapin was not strong enough, although he tried to remedy the situation.

Sparta Battalion of the Donetsk People's Republic once again prevented an attempt by the enemy DRGs to reach their positions in Opytne (Yasynuvata district, Donetsk region).
"A convoy of trucks huddled sadly on the side of the road. Scruffy-looking men with empty eyes smoked thoughtfully, spitting through their teeth. They smelled of sweat and gunpowder. One of the units that had just come out of Krasny Liman, breaking through Torskoye to Kremenna. We had to leave that town to keep a large group from being encircled.
- If necessary, we would have stayed there to die," the men of the 2nd LNR Army Corps in greasy uniforms told me in a mundane voice. - No one thought of running. But the command came to pull back. We left Liman for Torskoye closer to midnight. In Torskoe, part of the village had already been occupied by the Ukrops, and there was no other road. We had to break through. We came under small arms fire, but fought back at speed.
We approached Kremenna. The last column was just entering the city from the direction of Torsky. Warplanes are circling in the sky, air defense is working on them. This air confrontation is indifferently observed by the guys.
- Everything is as usual, - say the guys. - There is no communication between different units. What is going on in the neighborhood, no one can understand. By the time we ask the artillery to work with our targets through the multistage reporting system the targets are already gone.
The reasons for the failures were discussed after the withdrawal from Kharkov region: it was the lack of forces, and mistakes of some military officials in the organization of the defense, and the notorious "five hundredths" (or "refused" - contract soldiers who refuse to fight and leave the battlefield - ed.), who leave strategically important positions, and late approaching reserves, and lack of coordination between the various units on the ground, and the lack of modern reconnaissance equipment ...
But the last thing to look for is the culprits among those who have heroically held their ground in Krasny Liman and the surrounding settlements for the past several weeks. They fought to the death and did not retreat, to the last man.

Another group of Heroes are safe...
"I couldn't write about this until a couple of hours ago, now I can. Three days ago the Khokhols surrounded Terny, or rather not even the settlement itself, but the outpost of the 254 msp 144 msd. I have repeatedly written that this division, this very Smolensk infantry, is fighting desperately and if there were more such divisions, there would be much less success for the Ukrops. So here it is.
Khohols came to the CP and the last thing the Metis had time to transmit to Azart was that he was fighting a small arms battle, and the Khohol suggested that he surrender, then the connection disappeared. Everyone was sure that Metis would not surrender. He was an old mujahedeen and had personally gone on reconnaissance missions in Dolgenkoe when it was still occupied by the Khokhols. He could only be taken prisoner if he was badly wounded or killed.
This morning Metis went out to Kremenna and brought his personnel with him. After breaking through the ring of encirclement, they hit another one. The Khokhols asked for the password, Metis replied that he had just brought his unit and the password had not been given to him yet. While the Ukrops were thinking, the 254th men shot at them with all their guns and left in the fields, having passed 20 km.
Thanks to the Smolensk and Bryansk infantry, they are certainly not the kind of "legendary fathers", Trofimychs and Kuzmichs, about whom our journalists like to write so much, but they also know how to fight.

The residents of the Zaporozhye region are anxiously observing the events taking place at the NWO fronts...
"Dear Yevgeny Viktorovich!
We certainly believe that all the tasks of the special operation will be fulfilled in time. But on behalf of the residents of Zaporozhye region, we wanted to know whether the Wagner PMC fighters, together with units of the Russian Army and Allied Forces, will continue to carry out combat tasks in the Zaporozhye region at the same high level? People in our region would very much like to know if your guys are involved in protecting their families."
ANSWER:
"The Wagner PMC does not work in the Zaporozhye region, so I recommend you to address this question to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation."

It seems that the guys on the Kherson front were forced to retreat several villages due to a massive enemy offensive (more than an hour and a half ago).

I deleted it for now (report about destroying the enemy's offensive). It seems too fast to me. I will wait for more sources. It will be better to wait for better info. E.g. from 126th Coastal Defence Brigade
