We like to remind the community that tokens have not been distributed as of this announcement. We will be giving an announcement of the ZIL ERC-20 token contract address once tokens are distributed.

Hello all, as you read and share the comparison document around, we would like to have your feedback and clarifications about projects compared in the document so that we can improve it and fix technical inaccuracies if any. We reiterate that we have no intentions to undermine any project or ideas therein and on the contrary some of the ideas in Zilliqa are inspired from several projects presented in the document. Dear community members, we had summarized our previous answers to questions regarding comparisons to other projects into a document, which was intended to facilitate easy reference. However, unfortunately, the document spurred lots of misperceptions in particular as if we were promoting Zilliqa as the only solution for all challenges ahead of blockchains. This is clearly not the case. Zilliqa is still a work in progress and we are keen to working together with the community and other projects on tackling blockchain challenges. Some members of the community have raised concerns that the Zilliqa team has sold off 20 million ZIL. Here is the official reply from the team.

Team members have yet to be allocated tokens and therefore selling them off is simply infeasible.

The transaction in question was a deposit to an exchange. Most exchanges usually request for a deposit to guarantee enough liquidity. Those transactions selling our tokens are aggregated records from an exchange address.

The team strongly believes in the project and we have no intention to hamper team’s credibility and core values. Thank you for your understanding and for your trust.
