1/Announcing The Winners for LearnBlockchain.org contest! The inaugural contest for content creation on LearnBlockchain.org has ended and we’re announcing the 3 winners!
Dear Community,
It was observed that shard nodes failed to join the network in epoch 1315200, as a result transaction processing was temporarily disabled as a safety precaution at 1015 SGT to 1053 SGT on July 28 (Between blocks 1315219 and 1315326). This happened because we've received about 426 PoW solutions instead of the expected > 1800 PoW solutions (shard level).
The shard nodes have since rejoined successfully and transaction processing has since resumed starting block 1315326 with the network progressing well.
And as always, your funds are SAFU.

The network is now resuming to process transactions. The tech team in Singapore has been working on the maintenance all night to make sure transactions could be processed as soon as possible. As mentioned before, the last update was the biggest update since the mainnet launch in early 2019, and we pushed a lot of new innovations. The network could potentially still be a bit unstable in the next weeks, but these are short term hurdles (as we prepare for the next upgrade) and not long term.
