🏴❌🇷🇺🇱🇹 — Alexei Navalny's former chief of staff, Leonid Volkov, injured in hammer attack outside Lithuania home

➡️ During the assault, unknown men broke his car window, sprayed him in the eyes and beat him with a hammer.

➡️ Leonid Volkov is an ally of the deceased Russian liberal opposition politician Alexei Navalny.

➡️ According to his colleagues, the man was attacked near his home.

➡️ Kira Yarmysh stated that Volkov tried to fight off the attackers with the car door and with his feet.

➡️ After the attack, Volkov recorded a video:

“They wanted to make a chop out of me, naturally, with a chop hammer. A man attacked me right in the yard of the house, hitting me in the leg 15 times. For some reason, my leg remained intact. It hurts to walk, but they say that there is no fracture, but it was broken hand," the Russian oppositionist noted.

On the video, the Russian liberal blamed on the Russian Government for trying to kill him
