have you ever wondered why people still don’t wanna learn english in 2024?
despite the fact that english is everywhere - в фильмах, музыке, memes, and even в наших tech - there are still очень много людей who aren't interested in learning it
no need for it - if someone lives в стране where english isn’t required for work or daily life, they might not see the point in тратить время на его изучение. their native language does the job just fine
psychological barriers - many people have a fear of making mistakes, sounding silly, или просто чувствуют, что they're not "good" at languages. bad experiences in school can make this worse
tech reliance - instant translation apps каждый день становятся все лучше и лучше, some people just rely on their phones instead of learning a new language. why bother when google translate has your back, right?👀
not enough time or motivation - изучение нового языка takes time, and if you don’t see immediate benefits, it’s easy to lose interest. busy schedules and a lack of strong motivation can make it even harder
what do you think?

is it worth learning english, or are translation apps enough these days?

so, why am i even justifying myself? i’m not about to shove my certificates in anyone’s face or act like my education is my only flex. honestly, the real stuff that matters is: 1) i’ve been speaking english since i was a kid, 2) i know how to explain things in a way that actually clicks for different people, and 3) i genuinely want to help. like, you can ask me about literally anything - i don’t just help with english. i’ll guide you through university websites, help you figure out where to apply, what you need to do to get in, and i’ll even throw in a ton of motivation for good measure
i don’t need to brag about my education. we all know that’s, what, like 30% of being a good teacher? the other 40% is actually knowing your stuff, and the last 30% is experience—and yeah, i’ve been doing this for 5 years now, fyi
i don’t talk about my lessons much because my schedule’s full. i’m not tryna deal with 500 dms right now - i just need to pick two people out of a ton of applications. obviously, putting limits on spots and raising the price makes the most sense here
if you’ve been here long enough, you can tell from the way i write, the way i use the language, and the feedback from my students that i know what i’m doing. for anyone reasonable, that should be enough. and hey, if you didn’t get half of what i just said, maybe this channel’s not for you. no hard feelings - just leave and spare me the negativity. thanks

a little love note to my students 🐱
when people on tiktok drag me for everything - calling me boring, a crappy tutor, trying to put me down - the most important thing is to remember who you really are. i check homework and just feel proud of every single one of my students. it’s incredible. i’m amazed every time. i listen to the voice notes from the students i mentor and i’m blown away... like, the amount of willpower, self-discipline, and actual work they put in every day is insane. and when we team up, the results are just chef’s kiss
you’re all killing it, and i know you’ll crush it in the end!
i’m planning to drop a vid soon about motivation and why you’re still struggling to start speaking😻
