πŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ Footage from the helmet camera of a destroyed English-speaking mercenary who invaded the territory of the village of Kozinki in the Belgorod region as part of a group of militants of the Foreign Legion of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.

As you can see, the group was quite diverse and was formed from both Russian-speaking and β€œUkrainian” and English-speaking militants. In radio communications it is heard that one of the Americans commanding on the spot was killed after he got shot in the head by a Russian sniper.

The available footage shows that the village was seriously destroyed during the Ukrainian invasion attempt. In the end, the enemy tries to retreat from the village, but is hit by a precise attack and loses several people at once, who fell into the hands of the Russian Armed Forces.

I defy anyone to explain why YouTube deletes my comments. The most recent deletion is produced below.

Um, actually, no your comment was about AI generating textures & even entire video games almost from scratch, based upon relatively simple English-language descriptions of the desired functionalities.

Somehow, astonishingly, my G-rated comment got removed by an obviously malicious moderator, a malicious false report, or an AI algorithm that's completely out of control (maybe my AI social credit score is so abysmal that it's inclined to delete literally everything that I write?)

In regards to frame generation, the current implementations of it are such that it largely just simply interpolate between two existing frames. That's fine when FPS is high & there is little change from one frame to another, but when you actually need it, i.e. when FPS is low, the performance of frame generation is bad because the amount of change from one frame to another is more substantial. On top of that, frame generation increases latency, because it basically needs a frame that's "from the future" (relative to what's currently being displayed on the screen) in order to interpolate between two frames, causing increased latency. And again, when FPS is low, the latency will increase proportionately with the time needed to generate each real frame. Literally everything gets worse when you actually need it to work.

On top of all of that, in a few years, frame generation will be almost entirely obsolete, as video cards will be increasingly capable of generating actually real frames at a pace & quality that you basically couldn't ask for anything better.

So as you can see, frame generation is literally nonsense.

Upscaling, on the other hand, is a vastly superior solution & will have a longer shelf life.

"Kosher" social media is hot garbage.

Whelp... I traveled a bit to see the solar eclipse at a park. My phone (aided by ye olde solar glasses) didn't exactly take the best pictures of it, but it was easily one of the coolest things that I've ever seen.

The pictures don't really do it justice. Just prior to totality, the corona looked more like a very small halo for several seconds, perhaps because it was behind a thin cloud, and then the Sun went dark enough that you could easily look at it with your naked eyes.

The Sun goes dark rapidly, and it's really something. Spectacular, even. If you're ever with a few hours of a totality, it's definitely worth the effort of making a trip to see it.

Very cool, 10/10
