These particular situations probably aren't the absolute best examples, but it's nonetheless true: large groups of people get paid substantial amounts of money to monitor online discourse, often even intentionally provoking and/or encouraging angry comments, which they then use against those who they've decided they dislike

The United States has authorized the transfer of fighter jets and bombs worth “billions of dollars” to Israel, despite concerns about the operation in Rafah, writes The Washington Post.

The new weapons packages include more than 1,800 2,000-pound MK84 bombs and 500 500-pound MK82 bombs, Pentagon and State Department officials said.
