إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِیمَ کَانَ أُمَّةً قَانِتًا لِلَّهِ حَنِیفًا وَلَمْ یَکُ مِنَ الْمُشْرِکِینَ ۱۲۰

شَاکِرًا لأنْعُمِهِ اجْتَبَاهُ وَهَدَاهُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِیمٍ ۱۲۱

وَآتَیْنَاهُ فِی الدُّنْیَا حَسَنَةً وَإِنَّهُ فِی الآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِینَ ۱۲۲

ثُمَّ أَوْحَیْنَا إِلَیْکَ أَنِ اتَّبِعْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِیمَ حَنِیفًا وَمَا کَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِکِینَ ۱۲۳

إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ السَّبْتُ عَلَى الَّذِینَ اخْتَلَفُوا فِیهِ وَإِنَّ رَبَّکَ لَیَحْکُمُ بَیْنَهُمْ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَةِ فِیمَا کَانُوا فِیهِ یَخْتَلِفُونَ ۱۲۴

ادْعُ إِلَى سَبِیلِ رَبِّکَ بِالْحِکْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُمْ بِالَّتِی هِیَ أَحْسَنُ إِنَّ رَبَّکَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبِیلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِینَ ۱۲۵

وَإِنْ عَاقَبْتُمْ فَعَاقِبُوا بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبْتُمْ بِهِ وَلَئِنْ صَبَرْتُمْ لَهُوَ خَیْرٌ لِلصَّابِرِینَ ۱۲۶

وَاصْبِرْ وَمَا صَبْرُکَ إِلا بِاللَّهِ وَلا تَحْزَنْ عَلَیْهِمْ وَلا تَکُ فِی ضَیْقٍ مِمَّا یَمْکُرُونَ ۱۲۷

Title: "Trips and Traps: Defense against Shaitan and Nafs"

Speaker: Sister Zareen Farukhi; Zareen Farukhi is a cardiologist with an interest in behavioral methods to prevent heart disease both physical and spiritual.

Abstract: Who is the Devil? We all know from a religious sense who the devil is-a jinn, who was favored by Allah (SWT) and raised to the status of Angels. We also know the story how the devil was thrown out of Heaven. But, the real question is, how well are we prepared to combat against him? A being that has spent thousands of years trying to sway pious people onto a path of self-destruction. This lecture offers a practical approach to recognizing the attacks of shaitan and ways to counter them.
