We have a right to private conversations face-to-face, and it's completely normal if I don't want any third party—especially state representatives—to hear what I'm speaking about. Not because I have any secrets, but simply because it's my private conversation.
Did we ever agree that our digital conversations should be available for parsing by state bots without any court orders? I don't think so, but that's how it works now.
