If you spam the skip button too fast, Spotify flags you as a bot. When that happens, it starts auto-skipping tracks or plays them for only 9 seconds.
How to avoid this: Just wait 1 or 2 seconds before tapping the skip button again.
If it’s already happening: Just restart the app. Sometimes you might need to wait a few minutes for it to chill out.

Hey guys! Been a bit quiet for the last 3 days, mostly because I’ve been deep in the trenches building a new project called Yuma (powered by the YT Music backend) and rewriting the entire UI and architecture from scratch.
I’ve shifted priorities a bit. Let's face it: Spotify keeps locking down their web players, and their free mobile tier is just an ad-infested, laggy disaster. I wanted something fast, native, and completely clean. Because of this, the Spot project is on hold for now, though I can always return to it if the opportunity arises.
Here’s a first look at the beta UI. The interface is heavily inspired by a premium, minimalist aesthetic with super responsive layouts.

🔑 Quick Fix: How to log in if you used "Continue with Google"
If you are trying to log in and getting errors because your Spotify account was created via Google Sign-In, here is the issue: the app currently only supports standard Email + Password authentication. Google Auth is not implemented yet.
You can easily fix this by creating a native password for your account. This will not break your official Spotify app login.
Step-by-Step Guide
Go to the official Spotify password reset page: spotify.com/password-reset
Enter the Gmail address linked to your Google account.
Check your inbox, open the email from Spotify, and click the reset link.
Create a new password and save it.
Now, open the client and log in using your Gmail address and the new password you just created. Everything will work perfectly.
