The modern world of researchers: Primary Issues. 🌟 #additional
1️⃣ Hollow Projects.
Even though a comprehensive involvement of various explorations might sound pretty progressive, in the reality it underrates actual standards of them, because the more researches are manufactured, the more their difficulty is diminished and limited for students and other individuals. The referenced issue has already occupied most of youth journals, because the selection criteria have negatively reconsidered. In the past, researchers were given a certain amount of time and financial support to conduct a very research, whilst nowadays it has been accepted as a beautiful combination of questionnaires, narrow field to observe, and academic style. The primary reminder is that it is not the problem yet, but it would definitely lead to some potential misguidance in the future.
2️⃣ Academic overwhelming.
As a result of the sharp enlightenment, a misconception of academic content of the provided text became widespread. There is the conventional bottleneck in the rapid progress which has led to researches being academically overwhelmed in last days. The volume of published work makes it hard to find a clear gap and keep a review focused and critical rather than just descriptive. Consequently, investigations have been deprived of contextual clarity and specific information which used to be appropriate for the main target of the whole researchers.

Sometimes, researches ≠ evidence. But why? ✉️
🎱 Research might not entirely reflect evidential value of even a single statement, but most beginners tend to ask theirselves how they are set to develop their idea and give evidences for their hypotheses. Publication cannot guarantee truth, it probably relies on another causation, and statistical significance is not practical validation. Additionally, bias is able to affect your references, whilst firm testimony is usually accrued from multiple lines of maintenance.
🎱 When scientific work encounters a shortage of sufficient sources, authors, whatsoever, reference a plethora of various investigations even if it sounds pretty contradictory. Thus, filling your referencing list is a part of all the explorations as well. Therefore, it would be controversial to enmesh the statements with the solely one publication as long as there might be 8 studies with a positive effect and 2 with no effect.

Hypotheses vs. Theories
Hypotheses are testable predictions of researchers, while their primary aims are systematically to delineate a research question the investigation centred at. Noticeably, a hypothesis is predominantly more specific and narrow rather than theories, because it must be evidential within the investigation and research processes, namely questionnaires, statistics, and other categories which might prove the promoted statement.
Theories are prominently broad and general explanations of phenomena, and therefore they have been being developed by primary scientists as long as they have collected an immense list of evidences, testimonies, and arguments to unquestionably represent their own idea. Unlike the hypotheses, the theories are unable to be formulated when they are not sufficiently proven in several dogmas.
Let's enlist all the differences amongst theories and hypotheses. Of course, nothing is better, because they are by no means congruent. However, there are some deep contradictory moments to eact other. On the one hand, the theories are testified as a strctured explanatory frameworks, as well as, on the other hand, the hypotheses are basically statements or projections.

The general rules to avoid procrastination during a research accomplishment. ⭐️
While writing the scientific work, a bare discipline and an entire absense of mental preparation, as a result, make idleness and procrastination inevitable. However, to cease begative behavioural outcomes after being involved in the project, the most profitable option is to dissect your tasks into smalles pieces. Let's analyse research-writing guidance from the University of Waterloo and UNC together, formulating a conclusion afterwards!
🌞 First of all, as it has just been mentioned, professors recommend to subdivide the immense fulfillment into the tiny steps accompanied by daily routine to accomplish them. Consequently, if so, your brain would eliminate a tension and stress resulted due to the amount of work you have had to do once. For instance, set a tiny daily target, such as 250 words or 25 focused minutes, so the project feels manageable. Break the paper into micro-tasks like “write the introduction outline,” “summarize one article,” or “draft one methods paragraph”. Put research limits around yourself once you have enough material, then switch into writing mode instead of collecting sources endlessly.
🌞 Second of all, don't mess with the academic skills and separate most drafting from the real paper and prepare sources that might be beneficial and evidential for any of your statements. It would help diminish time for interruption to find researches and scientific publications which fit your assumptions most.

If you've ever found yourself with forty tabs open, manually typing out citations and then realising the journal you're submitting to uses a different reference style, you already know why tools like Mendeley exist.
It stores everything in one place — articles, books, PDFs, whatever you've collected. You install the Word plugin, and from that point on, adding citations is just a few clicks.
Need to switch from APA to Vancouver or whatever else the journal demands?
That's also a few clicks. No more checking every single entry for commas in the wrong place or missing volume numbers.
You can also highlight PDFs, take notes directly in the app, and sync everything across devices. If you're working on a thesis or a literature review, this alone can save you hours of tedious formatting work.
Is it perfect? No. The desktop app can slow down when your library gets really large, and some people prefer Zotero's cleaner interface. But for a free tool that does the core job well, Mendeley is a solid choice.

Over to you: what do you use to manage your references – or are you still doing it manually?

Would you like to see series of tutorial posts on how to use overleaf in our channel? 🌷
💯– yes!
👀 – nope
Overleaf is a collaborative, cloud-based text editor used to create professional documents with the LaTeX typesetting system. You can use the platform directly through your web browser without installing any software on your computer.
You can start a project or create an account on the Overleaf official website.
Key Features
Live Preview: Shows a real-time rendering of your PDF document side-by-side with your code as you type.
Real-Time Collaboration: Lets multiple users work on the same document simultaneously, similar to Google Docs.

The three coolest referencing list styles for your research 💖 #useful
🍭 APA (American Psychological Association) style is widespread through the psychological community, educational researches, and the social sciences, because it was developed by the psychological organization. In accordance with its arrangement, people make in-text citation (Surname, Year) and design your referencing list in the following order: Surname, N[ame]. (Year). Title of work (bla bla bla). Publisher. Volume (Issues), Pages. When it comes to psychological researches, the APA style is the basest one.
🍭 MLA (Modern Language Association) style is primarily appropriate for literature, language, and the rest humanities subject as well as it provides a short in-text citation with the page and the author included (Smith 45) and unquestionably another style for referencing list. Look at the following order: Author (Marsh, Leonard), Article Title ("Voltaire's Candide."). Journal Title (The Explicator; in italics), vol. Issue Number (vol. 46), no. Number (no. 3), Year of Publication (2390), pp. Page Range (pp. 203-204). Name of Database (Traylor & Francis), DOI or URL.
🍭 Harvard Referencing Style is dedicated for other group of individuals, which is obviously used in Harvard University and other Ivy League Universities. All the sources that you use in the main body of your text must be listed at the end of your ESSAY; this is called a reference list and should be in alphabetical order. You need to learn the following order: Surname, I. (Baron, D. P.), 2008. Title in italics. Publisher Place: Publisher.

The main thing you might do about the summary is to list researches and its integral parts in any subsequences, because this type of review should never have a flowing point until it is the summary.
In spite of its superficial resemblance to the Summary of Literature, the last one would and should never flow comparisons and analysis with deep focus on methodologies and other parts of the researches being observed.
If you write, “Study 1 found higher depression scores, and Study 2 found the same,” that is a summary. If you write, “Across studies, higher depression scores appear consistently, but findings vary by sample and measurement method,” that is a literature review-style synthesis.
