Lesson of the Day: Collaboration fuels innovation.π
Today was unforgettable! I participated in an incredible event hosted by Cursorβthe first hackathon of its kind in Africa.
I connected with inspiring tech advocates and took part in a coding challenge. We had just five hours to brainstorm and develop a project, aiming to create something visually appealing and meaningful.
My team built a web app that curates content from social media platforms like Telegram, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Our goal was to deliver relevant news, job updates, and entertainment that truly matters. It was a fantastic effort, and we received insightful feedback.
Unfortunately, I had to leave early due to distance issues, so the final results are yet to be posted. I left feeling inspired and learned the power of creating projects that address real community needs.

Lesson of the Day: Patience is keyπ
Today was a beautifully exhausting adventure as I set out to celebrate a significant milestone...my senior's graduation! Although the official ceremony Was yesterday..I was thrilled to be granted permission to visit his home and join in the celebration.
The journey tested my patience with endless lines for transport and services. Yet, I pressed on, knowing that this day was about honoring his achievements and expressing gratitude to God for this moment.
Upon arriving, I was greeted with warmth and joy. We shared heartfelt conversations that reflected on life, dreams, and the invaluable lessons we've learned along the way. My "Big Brother" (my senior) offered insights that resonated deeply, guiding me as I prepare for my own journey ahead.
Despite the challenges I faced getting there, every moment was worth it. I returned home feeling inspired and grateful for the experiences that shape us. It reminded me that even the toughest journeys can lead to profound personal growth and precious moments of gratitude to honor God..

Lesson of the Day: Use every opportunity to learn and connectπ₯³
Today was a truly amazing day! It began with a TypeScript class at boot camp, led by an incredible instructor who emphasized the importance of networking. Through this class, I made many new friends among my classmates, which added to the excitement of learning.
We dove into the basics of TypeScript, exploring objects, arrays, and essential data structures. It was fascinating to see how much I could grasp and remember, even with the foundational concepts. The energy in the room was contagious, and I felt motivated to absorb every bit of knowledge.
.... Following that, I had another class at 2 PM focused on web development, part of the PLP scholarship program. We discussed the significance of websites in todayβs world....how they serve as vital tools for businesses, nonprofits, and community initiatives. It was enlightening to learn about the trends that drive the need for effective online presence.
The web development class was filled with laughter and insights, thanks to our engaging instructor, who brought a fun Kenyan or Nigerian flair πto the session.
Overall, today was a whirlwind of learning and connection. Iβm grateful for the experiences and the lessons they bring, reminding me that stepping out of my comfort zone opens doors to new opportunities.

Lesson of the Day: Embrace Challengesπ
Today was fantastic! I started with a TypeScript class, where I struggled to find a taxi but made it on time. We had a presentation on the material we covered over the past two weeks, followed by a fun hackathon challenge in groups.
In Group 3, we worked on building a simple supermarket system that allows users to add items to a cart and check out with a total price. We managed to get around 40% done, and there's homework for the next session to finish it up.
On top of that, I spent about 6 hours trying to cook something amazing! Overall, it was a productive day filled with learning and joy.

Lesson of the Day: Focus on Real Understanding Over Recognition π±
Hey everyone! Today was such a great day! I spent time working on my portfolio website for my project, seeking constructive feedback from close friends and fellow developers, especially those experienced in UI/UX design.
Yesterday, I presented my Simple shopping cart system, which was a fantastic experience that deepened my understanding of TypeScript. Our instructor, Natty, shared a valuable lesson: true change comes from genuine understanding and skill, not just the desire to be recognized.
Today, I almost finished the documentation for my project and worked on enhancing the UI. Iβm dedicated to winning this hackathon, and I would really appreciate your wishes and prayers for me to succeed, especially since Iβm not feeling my best with a flu.
Weβll hear the results from the PLP team on August 8th, so fingers crossed!
π Thank you all for your support! Please wish and pray for me to win this challenge! Letβs keep pushing for greatness together!

Lesson of the Day: It's Okay to Take a Break and Prioritize Healthπ€
Hello everyone! I havenβt posted in the last couple of days because I was hit hard by the flu. It was challenging to maintain my energy, and I struggled with headaches and fatigue, which made it tough to work on my tasks.
I want to take a moment to thank this amazing community and my close friends who reached out to check on me. Your support means so much!
During these three days, I fell behind on many tasks, including my PLP assignments and others. Thankfully, Iβm feeling better now.... my voice is still recovering, but the headaches have eased. I can finally start working on some of my simple and easier tasks.
I also took some time to learn valuable lessons from the YouTube channel"Switch Youth," which offers insights on living life as a young person and applying those lessons in real life.
I apologize for not keeping you updated on my progress and health.
Thank you all for your understanding and support!π

Lesson of the Day: Progress Matters More Than Recognitionπ₯
Hey everyone! How are you? I'm doing well today! I'm starting to recover from the flu, which hit me pretty hard. Let me tell you about my day!
This morning, I finally had enough energy to attend the gara boot camp, and it was amazing! I showcased my Christian project, which is a mobile app still in progress. I shared it with my mentor and received some valuable feedback and suggestions for improvement. It felt great to get insights that can help me enhance my project!
Afterward, I spent some quality time with friends, which lifted my spirits. Once I got home, I took some much-needed rest and watched some great training materials. It was a refreshing way to recharge.
Later, I joined the PLP session for the hackathon results. I had been working on my portfolio website Last week . While I was excited to see the top websites presented, I felt a bit disappointed when my name wasnβt on the list. However, I reminded myself that my work is still valuable. Iβm proud of the progress, effort, and genuine diligence I put into it.
Interestingly, many of the top websites were quite simple, which made me realize that a user-friendly, straightforward portfolio is what really matters.

Lesson of the Day: Make the Most of Every Moment and Resourceπ₯·π»
Hello everyone! Today was such a great day for me. I started my day around 10 AM. After taking some rest and delaying my sleep, I was able to tackle a bunch of tasks that had piled up since I hadnβt been working due to the flu this week.
I finished my Power Learn project assignments in Python... databases and some HTML, and I even started re-building my tech project. On top of that, I almost completed Module 1 and Week 1 of my Aspire Leaders program, which is an incredible leadership experience.
Today, I took the opportunity to complete the Big 5 personality test through Aspire. It helped me discover some of my personality traits, which was enlightening.
One important takeaway I want to share is that we should always work when we have the time, potential, and abilities God has given us. Life is unpredictable, and we canβt take our energy, resources, or opportunities for granted. We need to use them to the fullest while we can.
In the coming days, Iβll share more about time management and how to make the most of it.

Lesson of the Day: Productivity is Key to Achieving Our Goals π
Hey everyone! Today was such a great day! after i returned home from church, i spent the entire day mentoring participants at a virtual hackathon hosted by @Telsem_Youth. It was an amazing opportunity to contribute to the community and connect with aspiring tech enthusiasts from the comfort of home.
Iβd like to share some productivity tips I learned from a Udemy course Iβm currently enrolled in:
Use Your Time Wisely: Warren Buffet once said, "The best investment you can make is in yourself." Utilizing our time effectively can make a significant difference in our productivity.
Set Alarms for Everything: We often set alarms to wake up, but we should also set alarms for going to bed. Sleep is crucial for our productivity, mood, and overall well-being. If we donβt rest, our minds canβt perform at their best.
Stay Hydrated: One surprising tip I learned is that drinking water can enhance productivity. Staying hydrated helps keep our minds sharp and focused.
Lastly, Iβm currently working on fixing a bug in my Christian mobile application project. Iβm hopeful Iβll solve it soon!

Lesson of the Day: Embrace Learning from Every Experienceπ£
Hey everyone! Today was a great day! I tackled a bunch of tasks that had been stuck on my to-do list. I woke up a bit late, around 10 AM, because I stayed up working until 3 AM. It was a challenge, but I made significant progress on my tasks.
I focused on collecting real data from friends for my project because I wanted to avoid using mock data. Itβs important to me to use authentic information whenever possible.
I also took an insightful course on Udemy by Dr. Angelina, who was a fantastic lecturer. My project is a class assignment where Iβm developing a simple app called βI Am Rich.β This app is inspired by a famous story where someone published it on the App Store for $999. When purchased, it simply displays a message saying "I Am Rich," at the top and shows diamond ....and it garnered attention for its outrageous price tag. Interestingly, only a handful of people actually bought it!
Now, I'm working on my project assignments and really enjoying the process.
Fun Fact:
Did you know that the "I Am Rich" app was banned π from the App Store after just a few purchases? It serves as a reminder that sometimes, simplicity can be surprisingly effective!

Lesson of the Day: Building Strong Foundations for Successπ
Hello everyone! Today was an incredible day! I dedicated around five to six hours to practicing Flutter, diving deep into the foundational concepts that are crucial for any developer.
As I worked through the basics, I focused on essential widgets and properties like containers, safe areas, main axis alignment, cross axis alignment, rows, columns, and sized boxes. These elements are the building blocks of Flutter, and mastering them is non-negotiable for anyone venturing into app development.
I encountered some challenges, especially when differentiating between row and column properties. It was an insightful experience that reminded me......and hopefully all of you.....that everyone, including myself, must start from the ground up. When we aim to create advanced and robust applications, having a solid understanding of the basics is vital.
Reflecting on my day, I also thought about time management. One of the biggest lessons Iβve learned is that hard work is often the accumulation of small tasks we didnβt complete on time. Itβs essential to prioritize important activities first.
Think of it like building a skyscraperπ: if the foundation isnβt strong, constructing higher floors becomes not only challenging but also risky. This analogy applies to our lives as well. Neglecting the small tasks can have a meaningful impact on our overall successπ.
Thank you for being part of this journey! Your support means the worldπ to me, and Iβm excited to share more lessons as we growπ± together.
