Today was such a great day, filled with unexpected surprises! By coincidence, I met jossy Yoseph_Won , an amazing and generous person from around the dorm. We planned to have lunch and grab some coffee, during which we talked about his journey into tech, his vision for the future of technology, and various project ideas.

I was truly inspired by his passion, problem-solving capabilities, and the insights he shared. Even though we attend the same campus and belong to the same faculty, we never had the time to discuss our experiences before.

We also played a checkers board game, and I was thoroughly beaten! I gave up when I was left with three lonely pieces, heโ€™s really good at checkers! After that, we got haircuts, took a bunch of pictures (fun fact: heโ€™s not just a developer; he also takes incredible photos!), and enjoyed dinner while walking over 6,000 steps. I feel lucky to have such a generous friend from our community and the same compound.

I want to thank God for this amazing Saturday!

Lesson of the Day:
Connections and conversations can lead to unexpected inspiration and growth. Never underestimate the power of taking time to engage with others; it can enrich your journey in ways you never imagined.

hello friends..today was such a great day....
after class finished one of the core features of my new MVP...
i am building it step by step on my free time๐Ÿฅณ
learning many things ....pushing even if it is boring .....

yesterday i read a quote on my Instagram feed:
"you can beat 99% of ppl, if you can master the shame of rejection, the boredom of repetition and the pain of feedback " - Hormozi

Let's just keep going ๐Ÿ’ช

And the best possible way to end this generous day? By pushing the MVP, testing it on the emulator, and making the fan scream by opening the emulator and running the app Iโ€™ve been coding. Building it fast!

I want to thank God for this amazing Thursday!

Your support means a lot to me, friends. Thank you for being here.

๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜บ Progress UPDATE ๐Ÿ˜บ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Today was such a great day! Despite feeling unwell and missing classes and lab sessions, I managed to finish most of my tasks. I pushed through and made significant progress on my MVP, which addresses the issues faced by many people and students.

Today, I worked with semi-structured data formats like JSON and incorporated Lottie animations. Yesterday, I also attempted to integrate the Ethiopian๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡น calendar into my project, and I pushed through the challenges, itโ€™s been interesting!

With my background in C++ and other programming languages from university, I found myself debugging, compiling, and writing code using penโœ’๏ธ and paper๐Ÿ“Ž. I always use paper to check my understanding, but this journey feels different. Asking for help from AI and compiling code on my phone adds a unique twist to the experience.

I also found it amazing to reflect on where Iโ€™m headed. Asking for comments and advice from positive peers and my seniors has been incredibly valuable.

Even though our journeys vary, I've learned that taking breaks and pushing through tasks builds confidence. A new life lesson I learned today is to ask myself, โ€œWould I wake up two hours earlier than usual to tackle this task?โ€ This simple question can redefine how I approach time-consuming activities.

From my experience with committing and pushing code, Iโ€™ve realized that treating it as a final task after finishing my work can be problematic.๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ Iโ€™ve lost some of my work in the past and couldnโ€™t retrieve previous versions even with Ctrl+Z. My process now looks like this:

git add .
git commit -m "My commit message ends with gracefully"
git push

Last year, I had a tough time pushing my changes to Git due to conflicts, but this year, Iโ€™ve become friends with Git commands, which makes the experience much more enjoyable!

๐Ÿ™ I want to thank God for this generous Tuesday๐Ÿ™.

โœŒ๏ธmy WednesdayโœŒ๏ธ
Today, I just finished my Mobile App Engineering course from Gebeya. The course covered general and basic concepts, including various mobile development frameworks like Flutter and React Native, as well as native languages like Objective-C, Swift, and Kotlin. While we focused on Flutter, the exposure to these different technologies provided great experience.

It's a wonderful opportunity to learn from every resource available, even though it can be challenging to fully harness my potential and maintain productivity at times. I once came across a definition of productivity that made me realize mine might be a bit unconventional.

This achievement is a significant milestone in my knowledge journey, thank God for this!

Additionally, I had a meaningful lunch with a mentor, during which I gained a wealth of life lessons that I will apply every day.

Today was a super blessed and productive day!๐Ÿฅณ
I had an amazing morning filled with several classes: PLP, Flutter specialization, Research, and Operating Systems. In the afternoon, I attended my Internet Programming Lab, which added to the dayโ€™s productivity.

I made the evening even more fruitful by having a meeting on Google Meet with my mentor, Ruth. We spent over two hours together, during which I received invaluable advice and insights from her university experience. Iโ€™m especially grateful for her invaluable time as we focused on Flutter and discussed various aspects of being a good developer, including energy and time management.

I truly donโ€™t take this time for granted and want to express my gratitude to God for His blessings and to @dot_ruth for her support. This experience means a lot to me and has made my evening productive. I'm incredibly thankful for the meaningful connections God provides๐Ÿ˜Š!
