Day 64 of Posting My Tech Journey (November 27, 2024)
How's it going, everyone?
On Day 64, I dove deeper into both the functional and technical aspects of Odoo:
1. Odoo Technical Development:
I'm working on building a custom real estate management module while learning the basics of Odoo's architecture. This includes exploring ORM, security, views, and other essential features of Odoo technical development. It's challenging but incredibly rewarding!
2. Odoo Functional Exploration:
I explored the Email Marketing module today and was amazed by how powerful Odoo is for streamlining processes that many SMEs rely on. Iβm eager to continue discovering more features and applying this knowledge to real-world projects.
Excited to keep pushing forward and sharing my journey with you all. Wishing you a productive and inspiring day!

Today, I am able to cover Odoo additional features and CSS functions.
1- Odoo:
I was exploring about the features that Odoo has to automate and streamline business operations. I practiced how to manage user access, multi-company and branch support, translation, sequence modification, scheduled actions, and others.
2- The Odin Project(CSS):
I learned about CSS math functions, which are used for flexible and responsive design. Functions like min(), max(), clamp(), minmax() help us to make paddings, containers, fonts responsive.

Day 68 is also about Odoo. I explored the survey, attendance, fleet modules, which are parts of the HR module.
1- Survey Module:
It's used to prepare surveys, live sessions, and other custom forms. It improves the forms like google by including live sessions and other features.
2- Attendance Module:
Attendance module streamlines the way we take attendances. There are 3 ways of taking attendances: manual, kiosk, and Odoo database. This module supports RFIDs and barcodes to check in to the system.
3- Fleet Module:
This module is used to manage the fleet(a set of vehicles) in the company. Companies like Ethio telecom, which uses rental cars can massively benefit from this module. It manages the state of cars, manufacturer, model, driver, and other related things.
