Today the Better Auth team in Addis Ababa met up and had a wonderful meet and greet session.
Was a really fun, nerdy and interesting time. Talked about a bunch of tech, experiences, personal stuff and ofcourse about Better Auth and it's Infra... and just so much more.
It is a very cracked team, and I'm honestly there to learn and so are they, which's the best place to be.
God bless us and wish us all luck. The excitement keeps on growing and bunch of epic ideas are coming up.💙

One of the most valuable habits I recently picked up is keeping a work log or what some people call a brag list. Interestingly, I had been doing it already without knowing it had a name.
The idea is simple. At the end of each day or week, take a moment to write down what went well, what did not, and what you learned. Over time, these notes help you spot patterns, avoid repeating mistakes, and focus more on what actually works. They also give you a clear view of your growth and show you exactly where to improve.
But more importantly, you are building your identity as a software engineer.
Tracking your progress shows consistency, growth, commitment, and intention. Whether you are looking for a job, working as a freelancer, or growing your own projects, a well-kept work log helps present you as a professional who is serious about improvement. It is your portfolio in progress.
It also fuels connection and collaboration. When you regularly reflect on your work, it becomes easier to share your journey with others, contribute to teams more meaningfully, and support peers who are on a similar path.
This habit has been incredibly useful, so I wanted to share it.
If you want to explore the idea further, I highly recommend this video:

It’s been a while since I shared my journey, so here’s what’s been going on lately.
Three days ago, as you might recall, I went to Addis to take the INSA summer camp exam.
The exam had four categories: NAT, FAT, NGAT, and GAT (I’m not totally sure about the abbreviations though 😊).
The pattern test was kind of like a MENSA-style one and it was interesting, but I struggled a bit with the time pressure. Some questions felt like a joke (like calculating averages and basic stuff), but there were also tricky ones that required digging into some old school memory.
And today, I’m heading back to Dire.
I might have some good news soon... (Spoiler:I might be getting a job 👀 )

My younger brother (he’s 17 now) is a trader, and last week he got his first-ever payout from a funded account.
Dude, I know only a bit of what you’ve been through to achieve this and I’m honestly so proud of you. You’re my inspiration. I believed in you, and you proved yourself to me.
This is just the beginning. Keep shining. 👏👏👏
