Have you all watched that tiktok video where a girl visually represents what statements like "oh i missed one day in the gym, might as well give up now" or "i didn't fulfill my resolutions in january, i cant do it now" or something of the sort. And she showed how ridiculous those statements are by showing that if you poured water on the counter, you'd wipe it, not dump more water. Or if you dropped a sock when moving laundry you'd pick it up, not overturn your laundry basket all together. So lets not piss on our progress. Its not perfect. Not even close but its being done. We might be giving it 20% here, 60 there or 35 here and 15 there but its fine. Because we're giving it something and building on what we already gave. Not restarting from scratch at every iteration. So say it with me now, "I will not piss on my progress."

I thought Independence is one of the final stages of maturity.
We were all dependent on early stage of anything. Children for example were dependent on their families' protection, love and guidance, we were once or still dependent financially, physically and emotionally on other people until eventually we become more and more independent, until we can finally take care of ourselves.
But then there is interdependency. As we grow and mature we become increasingly aware that the nature is interdependent. We further discover the higher reaches of our life has to do with our relationship with others.

Okay fine, yes π

Build Agentic Experiences with Google's Tools
Join us for a month-long adventure into the world of agentic applications! Learn how to build powerful, intelligent experiences using Google's frameworks and agent platforms. Whether you're a seasoned developer or just starting your exploration, this journey provides the resources and support you need to create innovative applications that truly resonate with users.
What is Agentic App Development?
Agentic apps use agents (the combination of an LLM with tools and a goal) to offer users new kinds of experiences like screens that create vacation plans for you, or a collaborative editor that guides you through writing and illustrating a story.
Learning new tools and a new way of thinking about apps can seem intimidating, but we'll show you how to get started in a weekend or two and have fun doing it.

How many of you Flutter developers are frustrated by banking apps refusing to open unless you turn the developer option off ?
I know its for security reasons but also having to tap build number 7 times again is really annoying π«

I got a friend streak invitation from a friend on Duolingo. I accepted it happily and then what did our dearest Duolingo app do? It just chopped my over 200 friend streak with my brother off and added a new one. π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬

π Rediscovering the Joy of Learning β Even in the Grind
Recently, I was reconnecting with a friend, and we found ourselves deep in a conversation about learning β or more specifically, losing the passion for it.
My friend shared that they had reached a point where he no longer felt motivated to learn. That hit home for me, because I realized I had been on the edge of that same feeling not long ago. Lifeβs daily demands β work, routine, survival β can slowly dull the excitement we once had for chasing knowledge. Sometimes, you donβt even notice it happening.
With AI and automation tools increasingly doing the βthinkingβ for us, the joy of learning through struggle β of wrestling with a hard problem and growing from it β can start to slip away. These tools are amazing, no doubt. But if weβre not mindful, they can make us passive instead of curious.
For me, engineering was the domain where I rediscovered that joy. Tackling complex systems, iterating crude prototypes, and refining them over time made me feel alive again. But that journey wasnβt without its paradoxes. I often asked myself:
βHow do I balance the pursuit of learning with the need to earn?β
They donβt always align. And in fact, the most meaningful learning often comes when youβre not optimizing for revenue, but for understanding. Still, to sustain that journey β especially in engineering β you need capital. And thatβs where the blend of engineering and business comes in: solving meaningful problems while building something sustainable.
But even with all that, passion can still be blocked by daily monotony:
π A job you no longer enjoy
π Life pressures (visa issues, financial stress, etc.)
π The overwhelm of constant chores or shallow work
How do you reclaim focus and creativity in such conditions?
You have two options:
Externalize the chaos β write, journal, map your thoughts, systematize your life
Internalize it all β try to process and manage everything in your head (harder, often unsustainable)
Iβve done both. What Iβve learned is that the method doesnβt matter as much as your intent to find clarity. Along the way, tools, systems, and habits start to compound like interest β shaving 2% off here, 5% off there β and eventually, they buy back your time and attention.
You regain space for curiosity.
You start building again.
You learn because you want to β not because youβre forced to.
And sometimes, that spark is all it takes to start climbing out of the fog.
