• Buradaki “such” bir intensifier’dır (derece bildirir).

The leading theory suggests that a small asteroid or comet—perhaps 50 to 60 meters in diameter—entered Earth’s atmosphere and exploded mid-air at an altitude of around 5 to 10 kilometers. However, no definitive fragments of the object have ever been found, and eyewitness accounts described a fiery object streaking across the sky, followed by a shockwave that knocked people off their feet even hundreds of kilometers away.

Over the decades, numerous alternative theories have been proposed, ranging from antimatter collisions and black hole impacts to more outlandish suggestions involving extraterrestrial spacecraft. While scientific consensus favors the airburst explanation, the Tunguska Event remains a reminder of Earth’s vulnerability to cosmic threats and the gaps in our planetary defense systems.
