One who's infected, grows an arrow on their head, and develops a deep desire to express themselves through different forms of media. A sense of need and ache to create is from the parasites side effects.

The more people one reaches by expressing themselves, the stronger the bond between them is. Over time, the jellyfish grows strong enough to leave the host almost baren and empty and becomes it's own being. The jello now has the life force, memories and the creativity of their former host. They call it the process of rebirth.

مار فولادین، بدن درخشان قرمزش را بر کنار ایستگاه خزید و باری دیگر زوزه ای از خستگی به سر داد. اخرین اخطار برای تخلیه کردن واگن هایی که از قبل هم تهی بودند. بین چند تن نفری که پیاده شدند، لئون غرغر کنان ساک سنگین خود را از قطار بیرون کرد و شال کلفت خود را به روی چهره ی اخم گرفته ی خود کشید. ابتدا به اطراف خود نگریست، خبری از کالسکه ای که به گفته ی آقای مورفی منتظرش است نبود. شیب ایستگاه آنقدر تیز بود که تصور بالا رفتن از آن در باران، با ساکی سنگین را غیرممکن می‌نمود. راه رسیدن به برکنمارک از کوهستان های لب مرز گذر میکند، با این حال لئون با خود اندیشید که تاسیس راه آهن بر چنین جایگاهی به دور از منطق و شاید حتی انسانیت است.
به ناچار، پناه بر نیمکتی خیس و چوبی برد و تن خسته از راهش را بر آن انداخت. از آخرین دیدار لئون با وایولت دو سال می‌گذشت؛ زمانی که راه خود را از رصدخانهٔ مرکزی کشور جدا کرده بود و برای یافتن کتاب‌های گران‌بها، به شهرهای دور افتاده سفر می‌کرد. اما دلیل آمدنش به برکنمارک کمی متفاوت بود
