A Beautiful Marriage
The Emir of Tikrit, Najmiddin Ayub, remained unmarried for a long time. When his brother Asaduddin asked him why he was not married, he replied, "I can't find a suitable one."
"Did not an offer come from the daughter of the Seljuk Sultan Muhammad ibn Malik Shah or the daughter of his minister?" Asaduddin asked his brother.
"There were offers, but they didn't suit me!" Replied Najmiddin.
Surprised by his brother's answer, he asked him who else might be more suitable. Najmiddin responded to his brother's request: “In fact, I want a righteous spouse who will take me by the hand and lead me to heaven. If I have a child from her, I want him to be brought up well, and as a result, he will grow up to be a good rider and take the Muslims back to Jerusalem! ” He replied.
Asaduddin did not take his brother's words seriously: "Where did you find such a thing?" He said casually. Najmiddin said, "Whoever makes his intention sincere for the sake of Allah, Allah will provide for him according to his intention." He replied.
One day Najmiddin was sitting talking to the Sheikh in one of the mosques of Tikrit when a girl from afar called the Sheikh and stopped behind the curtain. Sheikh Najmiddin asked permission and started talking to the girl. Najmiddin was listening to the conversation.
"Why did you turn down the young man I had sent to ask for your hand?" Said the Sheikh to the girl. Then the wise girl said, “O Sheikh! No matter how great the beauty and career of this guy, he doesn't suit me! ” He said.
"Which one do you want?" Asked the Sheikh in surprise.
She said, “I want a righteous spouse who will take me by the hand and lead me to heaven. If I have a child from him, I will hope that if we bring him up well, and as a result, when he grows up, he will become a skilled rider and take the Muslims back to Jerusalem! ” She replied!
Najmiddin could not believe his ears.
Subhanalloh! Didn't he say the same words? After all, Najmiddin's marriage was not delayed because of this dream! After all, isn't this the vision of that dream, the prelude to the realization of that intention !?
Yes, that was it. Najmiddin did not accept the daughters of the Kazakhs as a spouse in the course of this great dream, and the girl, in the love of this dream, was rejecting the marriage proposals of the Kazakhs! They both dreamed of a couple leading to heaven and a heroic child who would bring the Muslims back to Jerusalem…
Since the intentions were pure, the Almighty has brought the two great intentions together…
Najmiddin Ayub did not miss the opportunity and asked the Sheikh to marry this girl and he married the girl. From these two intentions a child was born. He grew up to be a skilled rider! He conquered Jerusalem and brought the Muslims there with victory! This man was Salahuddin Ayubi, who is proudly remembered in the golden pages of history!

Controlling yourself from texting someone you badly want to talk to is a different kind of pain.

"I don't know what the future holds, but I trust whatever Allah's planned for me, is what's best. I'm learning to become okay with knowing that not everything will happen the way I want it to. It'll happen the way He wants it to, and I have to be okay with that, because He wants the best for me: more than I ever will."
