"I think we should distinguish between abstract art as an honest, but in many cases maybe wrong-headed approach to convey something of the mystery of our reality, and the weaponization of abstract art by the CIA and the 'progressive' church. Piet Mondriaan is an example of the first; most of modern art today provides examples of the second. The thrust of subversive art is not against beauty in general, but against the beauty of white and Western civilization. It is used as a means of demoralization.
That said, the object of art is not beauty as such, but vision. And it depends on the vision whether we can call the artwork honest and therefore life-giving. Present modern art is lying and hostile to the West and whites."
